Kriti Sanon’s story is a testament to the power of dreams, determination, and unwavering self-belief. Born and raised in Delhi, she initially pursued a degree in engineering, but destiny had different plans for her. With a passion for acting, Kriti took a leap of faith and embarked on her Bollywood journey, far removed from the comfort of an industry legacy. It was a daring move, one that many would shy away from, but she had the resilience and talent to back it up.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, this is what she said: “The industry can become more accessible for outsiders if we start creating equal opportunities—if you’re launching someone from the industry, make sure you’re also giving space to someone who doesn’t belong but is probably more talented. Slowly, very slowly, the world is tilting towards talent and scripts rather than stars and big names.”

How was she able to peak so high? That’s because she has earned herself that level based on strong resilience. I like Kriti Sanon because she is from an ordinary middle-class family with the same characteristics of her family and lifestyle as ours. And she was able to collaborate with big names in the industry. Plus, she is an epitome of integrity. If you carefully examine her interviews, almost every time she has backed herself with principles to follow and do what she intends.

For example, in an interview with Hindustan Times again, she said, “Mimi was always special, as it had a lot of heart and soul to it, along with entertainment. When we started shooting, the scenes actually came out better than what was on paper, and that doesn’t happen to every film. Scenes ke saath feel arahi thi ki kuch toh special hai (with the scenes, there was a feel that something is special), no matter what the result will be.” She also mentioned that she has a diary where she keeps writing her dreams and goals. She very well portrayed the action of networking with the right people by saying, “My equations with people are by working and being me. There are too many noises telling you how to portray an image, but being real is the only way to go. As I kept doing more films, I kept making newer friends, and that’s how it has been for me.” That’s something you have to do diligently, grasping the opportunity as it comes.

What is needed for a successful and positive person is to keep learning and maintaining high self-esteem. Here’s how she impresses me: “When Bhediya got the reactions it did and performed well, it gave me a little more confidence in my own choices. It was one of those films that I was extremely sure of when it came to content. When you are absolutely sure of something and that doesn’t end up working, then you start questioning your thought process, your choices, and decisions. Bhediya was one of the first few films that I was not nervous about.”

Kriti Sanon has certainly cemented her place among the top as one of Bollywood’s leading ladies. While she is constantly impressing fans on the work front, they are always looking forward to her social media posts. Kriti keeps her fans regularly updated not just with her glamorous looks, home reels, and work updates but also with her motivational posts and poetry.

On World Mental Health Day, the actress took to her social media to share her thoughts on mental health and what it means to be kind to yourself. In the video, the actress can be heard saying, “You know what, the person you talk to the most, listen to the most, and whose words affect you the most is you. So be kind, be gentle to yourself in your head.” In the caption, she wrote, “The person you spend the maximum time with is YOU! Be kind, Stop being over-critical. Be Nicer to Yourself than you are to others.” That’s what is impressive. She is way on her journey of self-improvement, positivity, and resilience.

She often says she doesn’t just want to be an actor but an actor who can express different genres. She tries to be different with her roles and films, like playing a surrogate mother in her National Award-winning movie “Mimi,” a small-town girl in “Bareilly Ki Barfi,” a mythological character in “Adipurush,” a bold lawyer and entertainer in “Shehzada,” and an action woman in “Ganpath.” She is the right person to be selected for a person who can actually explain what it means to be the actual work for whatever you do.

She is also an entrepreneur. Sanon added in her social media post, “All you need is motivation, the right guidance, and someone who can make workouts fun for you no matter where you are. We at The Tribe believe in motivating you to become the best and the fittest version of yourself — Be it with in-studio, group/personal, or virtual sessions with someof the coolest, youngest & fittest trainers who will not only push your limits but also make workouts super fun.” She also launched her premium skincare product, Hyphen. With Hyphen, Sanon aims to provide simplified and realistic skincare solutions. She said she hopes to make skincare effortless and accessible to everyone.

In the recent past, she also turned into a producer through her production house, Blue Butterfly. She has been consistent in her ability to express her views and values. This is going to be shown through Blue Butterfly Productions. I like that she can communicate her core values to the world.

One of the most fascinating things about her is that despite being in a nerdy field of study (engineering) where everybody is in difficulty with their personality and social skills, she emerged out of odds and stands as an ideal icon to follow. It feels through her as if whatever they (her family) wanted to pursue, they can excel as a career. And that’s what compiles every trait and achievement of hers as inspiration for myself.
