A pair of black shoes which crushes their personal life. A khaki colored pants in which it’s unable to move. A black belt which ties them up. A khaki colored shirt which gives them pain on the shoulders and a khaki colored cap which weighs a dozen. The wearer of the uniform gets a pound weight and a pound salary
According to the mentality of people seeing an official in uniform, you either run or follow rules for a span of time. According to their perception you have to get scared seeing them, their perception further continues saying to blame the uniform wearer when something unexpected happens like a riot or theft. Mentality of people is to applaud them when they sacrifice their lives and neglect them when alive.
They are the people who carry the most weighted uniform. their uniform gives them a boundary , their uniform gives them a small quarter and a pound salary , their uniform orders them to crush their personal lives and keep the nation first , uniforms force them to work in the worst conditions where you have to face peoples abuse , work even in the pandemic time and work calmly . As their posts increase their weight increases.
The uniform wearer has great responsibility. Imagine what was going in mind of Narendra Kumar, an IPS officer who was stopping illegal mining and sacrificed his life for the nation. He did not think about his family or anything, he knew it was wrong for the nation and sacrificed his life. Imagine the thoughts coming in mind of Sachidanand Shrivastava during the Delhi riot, he worked very calmly, if he wanted he could shoot everyone there but no. There are many more officials who were never awarded for their bravery, even google doesn’t recognize the true heroes.
The wearer of the uniform is a living inspiration for all three generations or the whole world. It takes a lot of courage to wear such a weighted uniform every day. Salute to all the policemen of India, who suffer a lot but are always there to give us service.
