“There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish.”
                                                                                                                                      –Michelle Obama

Women empowerment has been greatly enhanced and shows that women are capable of managing their families and businesses. Falguni Nayar, CEO of Nykaa, provides an example. Women’s cosmetics are sold online at this store.

Embrace women’s empowerment

History shows that women were ill-treated. From Sati Pratha in ancient times to girl child abortion today, women have faced violence throughout history. Women continue to suffer heinous crimes in India, including rape, acid attacks, dowries, honour killings, domestic violence, etc.

The population should be fifty percent female. As a result of female foeticide practices, the number of girls in India has declined significantly. Sex ratios in India have also changed. Girls have a low literacy rate. Most girls lack primary schooling. In addition, they marry early and are obligated to raise children. Husbands control them and do not allow them to leave the house. Men take women for granted and consider them their property. Women are discriminated against at work as well. For the same amount of work, they receive less compensation than sexagenarians.

Empowering women: Steps to take

Women can become more assertive in a number of ways. Both government schemes and individual efforts are possible. At the individual level, women should be respected and provided with the same opportunities as men. They should be encouraged and promoted to pursue jobs, higher education, business activities, etc.

A number of schemes have been developed to empower women, such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana, Mahila-E-Haat, Mahila Shakti Kendra, Working Women Hostel, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, etc. In addition to these programs, we can also empower women by abolishing social evils like dowries. By taking these small steps, women will have a voice in society and their situation will improve.

Empowering women

Domestic violence has also become a significant issue in India. As their wives are their own property, husbands abuse them mentally and physically. Fear of judgement often prevents women from speaking up. Similarly, employed women earn less than their male counterparts. Sexist and unfair to pay someone less than they deserve for the same job. In response, women’s empowerment has become a key demand. Ensure that these women do not suffer injustice in the future by allowing them to speak for themselves.

In India, women’s rights can be enabled in several ways. Government and people must cooperate to reach this goal. To build a successful life for themselves in the future, girls must be educated to become literate in order to be literate. Equal opportunities should be available to women regardless of their gender. Their work must also be compensated equally.

Combating child marriages in India, which are common in villages, can also empower women. We must conduct many programs so they can defend themselves in case of financial crisis. Divorce and abuse are fundamentally humiliating.

The pressure of society leads women to tolerate unhealthy relationships. Even if their own family abuses them, parents must teach their daughters that accepting abuse is wrong. They should act when necessary.

For India to become a superpower in the near future, women’s empowerment is equally imperative. It is crucial that we give them a chance to do so in order for them to become a superpower. In order to reach this goal, the education of girls should be given the highest priority. Moreover, they are compensated in a similar way to men for the same work that they perform.

It should likewise be our goal to eliminate child marriage and the dowry system from the entire nation in order to empower women throughout the country. It is also worth noting that the Indian government is trying to make the country more attractive to women by providing them with equal opportunities. This is done by helping them to reach their full potential.

It has also been decided that women will be admitted to the National Defence Academy by the supreme court of India in the near future. There has been a recent announcement from the Indian government that women will soon be able to attend military schools going forward. Taking a common approach to the problem could be the key to finding a lasting solution to this problem.

“I can promise you that women working together – linked, informed and educated – can bring peace and prosperity to this forsaken planet.”
