In 2014 telengana split off from Andhra Pradesh and the erstwhile capital city get located in telengana. So, there is a necessity of building a new capital for newly formed Andhra Pradesh. Then the venerable chief minister Chandrababu Naidu announced Amravati as the people capital
SALIENT FEATURES OF HISTORIC PLACE AMARAVATI:
- Buddha stupa which resembles Buddhist culture is placed in Amravati
- 125 ft Buddha effigy located in Amravati
- Amarlingesawar temple which is one of the pancharama kshetras
- Amravati museum famous for some historical items
- Dwelling place of Buddhists during 220 bce
The Buddhist chain connected Amravati to Singapore and Japan. The Singapore gives an extraordinary master plan to make Amravati as a global city with bench mark countries like china, Singapore, Japan, Dubai, Malaysia
KEY ATTRACTIONS OF MASTER PLAN:
- It is surrounded with 51% of greenery and 10% of water bodies
- It is a group of 27 communities
- It has great solid and liquid waste management along with a good storm water management
- The master also includes a special technique named district cooling to keep city cool
- It is accompanied by parks and water plazas
The Amravati is also a city consisting of nine theme cities named government city, sports city, electronics city, media city, tourism city, education and knowledge city, health city, justice city, finance city

- TOURISM CITY:
The city is a mix of spiritual and heritage tourism along with iconic riverine tourism along with theme resorts and open restaurants, parks and musical water fountains with a high street retail cum food and beverage corridor it also contain amphitheatre, banqueting and festive space and it also accommodate museums, science centre and contain MICE tourism
- GOVERNMENT CITY:
The city consists of all government buildings along with secretariat, government complex and MLA cabinets and also contain international bureaucratic embassies and the city accommodates city square (similar to Times Square in New York) and government complex etc.
- JUSTICE CITY:
It is city of law doing all judiciary activities and it also accommodates the high court along with its tributaries. Law colleges also resided in this city this city accommodate legal research institutes and justice knowledge centre the city also have law museum
- SPORTS CITY:
The sports city consists of large arenas and international coliseums with an aquatic centre, velodrome, indoor sports area and it also contains sports mall and some hotels and residences I hope it will be crowd pleaser and a sports village the govt making it as a prime destination for all athletes and it may become a talent factory of athletes this will evolve as a city which can host Olympics by 2036
- HEALTH CITY:
It is a site of medical tourism and contains world class medical universities along with centres of medical excellence. It also accommodate bio-medical research centres, rehabilitation centres and super speciality medical facilities and medicine research centre and trying to make Amravati as one of the healthiest cities of the world with82 years of life expectancy
And become a medical device manufacturer
- ELECTRONICS CITY:
The city is a mixture of both IT and electronics industry. And this city will create so many jobs and decrease unemployment in the state it also accommodate testing labs, incubation centres, training institutes, logistic centre, ware houses. It also supports housing
- MEDIA CITY:
The media city consists of studios, media and innovative industries, post production, digital service providers etc. It also creates 65000+ jobs. It is a suitable area for filming and gamin and other media related industries and also contained 30 acre integrated Business Park
- KNOWLEDGE CITY:
Knowledge city is a centre for learning and village of Global universities and research and development institutions, start up centres, national library and also MICE centres and it is best for residence and developing as a research hub of south Asia and creates nearly 15000 jobs and it will be the world class research cluster
- FINANCE CITY:
The city contains waterfront central business district and contains banks, NBFCs, investment banks rating agencies, trading houses corporate head quarters, investment banks etc.
TRANSPORTATION:
We can reach the city easily from any point of the world through any means of transportation
We can reach it by sailing in saline body which is habitat for marine beasts up to machalipatnam which is 80km far away from the capital city and then by road
We can reach it by public transport from major cities in south India
We can reach it by flying as a bird along the path of cloud up to gannavaram
Which is 25km far from the blue and green city and then by road

Amravati is a dream capital of every Telugu speaker and it is dream to me to see the completely modernised Amravati and it is my dream place to visit before my last breath I hope I will fulfil my wish and i hope my culture in fact culture of Andhra Pradesh should reach to all points in the world
And I wish to see Amravati as a global capital which will be completed by 2050
