In 2019 I went to San Francisco with my mom and grandparents. It was a memorable family trip.
We went to San Francisco by Singapore Airlines. We had a stopover at Singapore Airport. It was early morning when we landed at Singapore Airport. I was amazed to see a beautiful rainbow when I looked at the window in the airport. I had burger, French fries and mountain dew at McDonald’s. My mom and grandparents took food at a South Indian restaurant. After a few hours we boarded the plane to San Francisco. It was a long flight. The plane was flying over the Pacific Ocean. Sometimes there was bumping. My mom and I were so scared. I was so excited when the plane landed at San Francisco Airport. After immigration we checked in a nice cozy hotel in San Francisco. The hotel room was beautifully decorated. There was a refrigerator in our hotel room. The hotel tariff included free breakfast. There were variety of items at breakfast. Every morning after breakfast we went out for sightseeing.
San Francisco is a beautiful city by the Pacific Ocean. Some of the tourist spots in the city are China Town, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, and the World Disney Family Museum. During our two weeks stay we went to Fisherman’s Wharf. We had our lunch there. The fish and chips were yummy! I saw seals on the beach.
We also visited the Golden Gate Bridge. My aunts, uncles and cousin joined us. There was fog. We stopped in the middle of the bridge and took some photos. After we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge we went to an American restaurant. So many people were waiting to get into the restaurant. After half an hour the waitress called us. My grandmother and mom ordered pizza and pasta. I chose burger. The burger was so delicious.
We went to Pismo Beach by car. It was four hours’ drive from San Francisco. Our car stopped at McDonald’s. I like McDonald’s so much. By the time we reached Pismo Beach it was evening. We stayed in a nice hotel by the beach. We saw sunset from our hotel balcony. My grandmother took us out for dinner at an Italian restaurant. I enjoyed pizza very much. In the morning when we were having morning tea in the hotel balcony, I saw dolphins in the ocean. After a while we also saw few whales in the ocean. Next morning after breakfast we went to the beach. I played there with my cousin. After breakfast we returned San Francisco. We attended a graduation party in the evening. I took a shower after we returned to our hotel room. Then we went to St Louis Obispo. It is an old town. We had our lunch there.
After our two weeks stay in San Francisco, we returned home with a lot of good memories. It was a wonderful trip that I will always cherish.
