Introduction of Nobita-
Nobita was a 5th grade student who was 10 years old. His full name is Nobita Nobi. Nobita’s mother name is Tamako Nobi and his father’s name was Nobisuke Nobi. His mother was a housewife by profession and his father was a mid-level office worker. Nobita was a kind hearted and loving boy although everyone treated him badly. His heart was pure that is why he even used to help Gian and sunio too who bully him badly. He had good shooting skills and was good at Ayatori. He was a pure soul that easily connects with animals and the people those are in pain and sufferings. Nobita only wanted to help others and remove the sufferings of others because he knew the pain of being alone even if you are surrounded by many.
What is the main story behind the cartoon Doraemon?
We all are grown while watching the Doraemon in our early childhood. So, we all are well known of the Doraemon story. But if you are someone who wants to know more about it then this story revolves around the one person who is Nobita. Then there are various claims and different stories regarding this cartoon. Here we will discuss only regarding the Nobita’s life, motive of this cartoon and what we can learn from it? Nobita was a lazy 5th standard kid, who used to procrastinate things and was not good in academics and sports. Although Nobita had 2 main talents such as shooting and creating different design with the help of string. But these were not valued by his friends and they made fun of it. The story is based on how bulling, parents’ ignorance, loneliness and scolding can harshly affect a child’s life. Scolding the students for not scoring good at the exam and not completing homework is not the solution. Instead parents and teachers should talk together kindly and gently to know what is the major reason behind it
How was Doraemon invented?
Nobita used to get bullied by Gian and Sunio. He was a lonely guy, who has no friends, was scolded by her mother and teacher for not performing well in anything and bullied by kids. So, all these situations created an intense level of depression inside him that he started living in the imaginary world just to get relief. Every time something bad happens to him, he goes into imagination and starts imagining good scenarios. This became so frequent that he forgot the difference between reality and imagination. He started imagining a blue cat robot that came from future to help him. His imagination gave birth to Doraemon. So, in this way, Doraemon was invented by the imagination or the illness of the Nobita.
What is the main motive of the story?
The story Doraemon tries to convey various messages such as competition, shame, guilt, scolding, bullying can make a big impact on child’s overall behaviour and personality. Nobita’s parents only scolded him for scoring less marks. They never tried to ask him why he scores less marks and never helped him in his studies. His friends always bullied him and teacher only scolded him for scoring less. We have seen the teacher asking nobita to sit and do homework after the school ends. But he never tried to help him individually. All these things made him feel lonely and worthless. He started feeling that it is all his fault and he is good for nothing. Although Nobita was a great student in his early childhood. He used to share everything that happened to him to his granny. But after her granny passed he had nobody to whom he can share his feelings and emotions.
The story conveys how unprocessed thoughts, feelings, emotions and loneliness in long term can affect our mental health? Also, it explains regarding the importance of the surrounding environment of the child. The story conveys the importance of happy and healthy family, the support of teacher in building the future of the child. If we ignore the child’s mental health then he will lose himself in the imaginary world just to feel loved, wanted and feel worthy.

What do we learn from Nobita Nobi?
We know the character of Nobita, he was a lazy, procrastinator who did not had any talent. But yet he became the no. 1 scientist of the world just because of his dedication and the hard work. The story shows that our actions make our future. This means where we will put our efforts, it will decide our future. Nobita represents all of us. There are times when we all feel useless, lonely and lazy. We feel that the world is not for us. So here the story of Nobita motivates us all that we can do it. The story inspires us to stay strong in the tough time, do consistent efforts and show dedication and hard work and this time bad time shall also overcome. Nobita was a lonely child with no friends; no parents love and no support from teacher yet he managed to overcome all the hurdles and became a successful person. In this generation people are affected by a little stress, anxiety and depression and they take it too seriously that they start feeling like suicide is the only way to overcome it. But just think about the Nobita, he was just a 5th grade student and her worked hard for continuous 25 years and then became successful. His success was not just a piece of apple pie but he worked hard for continuous 24 years with dedication and consistency, then he got his success. Our life is too easy then his. If he can recover from that tough situation so we can too. Because our issues are minor in front of his issues.
How did the imaginary world of Nobita helped him come back in his life?
Everybody used to think that Nobita will end up becoming a Begger in the future as he has no skills. But because of his imagination or we could say the mental illness that led him to feel safe in his imagination made him a successful scientist in his real life. We know he used to roam around Shizuka. But when his imagination showed him that the Doraemon is dead now and to treat his illness he has to research a lot. So, he started focusing on his studies, started ignoring Shizuka and scored well at exams even more than Degi suki. He started studying in the library when he had free time and at last, he became the no. 1 scientist to create the Robot. He ignored everyone and focused on studying only and he made everyone loser those who predicted his future to be a Begger.
Conclusion-
This was a fictional story that tries to convey the importance of mental health and the factors affecting the mental health. It is really important to pay attention to the child’s behaviour. Instead of scolding him and saying bad words, we should try to understand the reason behind it. Nobita was a sensitive child from the childhood. But he had his granny by her side to motivate him and listen to her worries and give him advises. But after her granny passed away, his parents did not try to comfort him.
He was a good student until her granny was alive. But after her death he lost the only one bond to whom he could share his problems. He lost his interest from studies. There was a childhood friend in his neighbour, she also left him and moved to another place. He used to roam around Shizuka because she used to give him a little comfort. But she also used to neglect him for Degi suki that hurt him a lot.
The story conveys many things such as the role of parents’ friends, and teachers in the life of children. It also explains that even the people those seems to be loser and pathetic now can become the most genius person in future. You cannot predict someone’s future by just looking at his current condition. It also conveys the message to never judge a book by its cover. He used to look sad, nervous, dumb and useless but it was because the situation was not in his favour. He was so stressed with his surroundings. He had parents but he did not feel love and support from them. He had friends but they did not provide him joy or happiness. He had a teacher but he was not able to understand and support him.
