Women empowerment is a way for women to gain recognition and self-awareness of their potential and value in facing a world full of biased gender confrontations. In this world, there are many women who have the potential to prove that they are worthy and cannot be underestimated. But because of the gender bias that indirectly looks down on women, and women empowerment is underestimated. Since ancient times, women’s rights have always been looked down upon, and that has been the case for a long time until the emergence of great women who dared to speak out for their rights as women and they deserved equal rights.

Women Employement

Women empowerment is very important but because there are still many people who ignore it, the impact is that women are always seen as weak. The unavailability of as many jobs as men makes many women unemployed. This is important because basically women also have the right to pursue their careers and are not underestimated, especially in terms of work. Sadly, many women are underestimated and seen as weak, many women are often victims of sexual harassment or violence, and many of them are traumatized by this.

Greatness and Advantages of Women

This makes people’s opinions differ about women’s empowerment, there are those who support women empowerment while those who oppose it. People who support this strongly believe that basically women also have rights and are treated as they deserve because every woman has their own talents and potentials and can compete with others, especially men. This can be proven by the many great women who have succeeded in proving the greatness and advantages of women such as Ibu Kartini, Najwa Shihab, Susi Pudjiastuti, Dian Sastrowardoyo, Kamala Harris, Mary Barra, and many others. From the examples of these great women, it can be concluded that women are not weak figures who deserve to be underestimated, but women also deserve to have proper rights and can be treated properly like a queen.

Competent Leadership Skills

But on the other hand, those who oppose women’s empowerment argue that women are figures who must be led by a man but that does not mean they are treated inhumanely. Most people think that women are mentioned in the Qur’an to be led by men. This creates equality that makes men have higher rights than women, some argue that men have advantages in terms of courage, emotional control, and always think twice before doing something, this is what makes many people think that men have better and more competent leadership skills than women.

Final Words

In conclusion, women deserve high rights and not all women are incompetent, many women have advantages and talents or potential that can be maximized, and it is only natural for men to maintain a woman’s self-esteem and not look down on or look down on a woman. Because basically women and men are both human beings who have logic and feelings that can make themselves potential to become a leader, and everyone has equal human rights. And all women have different potentials and talents which if they are ignored, their talents and potential will be very unfortunate if they are not used.

And in my opinion, it is natural that women deserve proper rights as well as a good treatment for them and do not look down on them by discriminating in terms of work or gender equality which makes them get negative treatment from irresponsible people.

There are many women who have potential out there but are ignored by the people around them which makes their potential to be in vain, moreover it makes them not confident in their respective potentials so that they become dependent on men in many ways. things, whereas if women can pursue their jobs properly and there is no discrimination in work this can reduce the level of poverty and unemployment with a large number of women.

Indeed, to voice opinions about women’s empowerment so that it spreads throughout the world is difficult and takes a long time because there are many irresponsible people, but there is nothing wrong with always supporting women to get their rights so they are not belittled. Because basically every woman has their own advantages that can be maximized properly and usefully.

In the end, I believe that women deserve to be respected and seen as great by others, so that many women out there can again become confident in their talents and potential, and I hope that in the future women’s empowerment will not be ignored in various places.
