Public or Home Schooling: Basis of One’s Success

In the life of a student, Schooling plays an essential role. As a student in the childhood days, we were oblivious about the type of teaching provided to us.Also,we attended classes with full of enthusiasm and excitement. Have you ever felt that teachers did not listen to our doubts ? Have you felt that they did not care about our us or our improvements. Surely, they did;however, with the passage of time, we grew, and now ,we do not have that much interest in studies which was present in our childhood days.

Reasons For Lack Of Interest are :

• Learning without frequent brakes: Breaks, which are an essential part of studies, are often lacked by students. In fact, this not only deteriorates our quality of knowledge but also wastes a significant amount of our crucial time.

• Schooling without efficient teachers: Most of the teachers ,in this pandemic COVID-19, are taking online classes, which are not only tiresome but also lack the quality of knowledge. Moreover, teachers are teaching plentiful students in these online classes. Then, introverts are unable to clarify their doubts because teachers are busy completing their course, giving homeworks , asking questions, conducting tests, and giving marks.

• Greater distance between students and teachers: With the rise of number of students, doubts of ample students go unanswered.

Finally, due to numerous reasons , a student starts disliking classes.

Quality of education of adults, who are the future citizens , depends on the quality of education imparted to them at teenage by their teachers. Curiosity, Anxiety and Excitement ,due to hormonal changes, are a part of teenage life. One spends almost the whole day in only completing the hw, attending classes , giving tests, and studying whole day long for good grades. Boys, as we know, are attracted by everyone during their teenage years. Those who control their desire and work for their success succeed and reach greater heights.

Taking about teenagers, our life has become terrible. With the advent of time , the load of study has also increased tremendously. Without tranquility and perseverance, one cannot achieve one`s goal. The pandemic has proven it. When we were at school,during our school days,  our teachers were telling us topics nicely and also cleared our doubts patientfully . Now-a-days, however, the scenario is just opposite. Concerned about taking online classes to finish one`s syllabus, teachers haphazardly teach students, which only causes a bunch of doubts and awful grades. Nevertheless, after looking at the poor grades of their children, parents send them to attend coaching institutes, tuitions, and other famous institutions. However, the reason for poor grades can only be elucidated by the student himself. Moreover, we ourselves know us better than any other person. Our own stupidities can be better corrected by us only. For solving it, a proper guidance is required.

There is a greater difference between home schooling and public schooling.Apart from the difference, it depends on the child himself what he wants. Excited and enthusiastic, some students will attend coaching classes to learn something new ,while on the other hand, some children may find it difficult to ask doubts before so many children. Though online classes are essential because of the current  COVID-19 situation, they lack the quality of education provided.

The four major problems, from my perspective, with teachers are:

Besides, some teachers are oblivious about the needs and requirements of teachers. 

PUBLIC SCHOOLING

This is the most famous mode of teaching students, During the recent years, this method has become worse. In the blooming online classes where students` doubts remain unanswered are common. No doubt that teachers may have the knowledge , but in case of imparting it, they are just inexpert in Indian Education System. At a teenager,  one needs proper guidance to bloom like a flower that is unique . Still, children have been attending online classes without any complains, and this makes their performance even worse. To conclude , It is a system to make a child dell, weak, lethargic and depressed.

Regular public school classrooms are not, by nature, relatively calm environments, especially at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Nonetheless, that does not mean a student cannot thrive in such an environment. In fact, supporters of regular public schooling argue that the chaos of the classroom is indeed what children need to succeed in life. In the case of supporters, they say that majority of students are able to learn from theses classes.

HOME SCHOOLING

Far from the chaos of school life, this is far more fascinating and triggering. Students are able to learn numerous facts at their own pace. This , in fact, not only helps them to retain the information but also helps to learn the core concept from resources available on the internet. A variety of essential resources are available _ ranging from audios books, videos of YouTube and  websites to government run  free website such as NATIONAL DIGITAL LIBRARY OF INDIA that contains millions of books; moreover, teachers are also available online who have great communication skills and are also able to impart quality knowledge.

BENEFITS OF HOME SCHOOLING?

As we cross our teenage in future, we will realize that the period of teenage_ from 13 years to 19 years_- was the most important point of learning. Taking online courses from VEDANTU, BYJU’S AND MERITNATION and using popular EDUCATIONAL YOUTUBE CHANNELS like EDUMANTRA, DEAR SIR, MAGNET BRAINS, BHAI KI PADHAI are better than those blooming online classes of our schools. That is because they are overcrowded,  teachers do not get time to cater and know the needs and requirements. Therefore, Keeping all these points in mind, home schooling(self study) is better than public schooling.
