travel Traveling
Do you travel to eat different cuisines or see amazing sights in the night sky? Well, in my opinion, traveling means trying different fantastic flavors. In the world, there are a whole variety of foods to nourish. Although you can buy almost every cuisine from your local supermarket, the satisfied feeling of the authentic flavor is much, much better. The foods in Hong Kong make a wonderful Duo with the life-changing cheapness of ShenZhen.
Food has had an incredible influence to make people travel around the world. It has made the culinary experience way more satisfying. During the old days, everybody hunted for food and ate it raw. Now, in the modern days, we can easily go to the supermarket or restaurant to eat delicious food. Also, the culinary expectation has risen a lot and made things like the Michelin star guide and 5 star restaurants. This is because the world changes and has different trends each generation, if not decade. This is true because in Gen Alpha people say slang words like “ Skibidi Toilet “ but in the older generations, people did not grow up knowing about stuff like that.
The transportation between them is cheap and you do not need to make a reservation to ride the MTR to go there. In Hong Kong the subway network is called the MTR. The MTR uses a card called the Octopus which is a card that you can use in Seven Eleven, Circle K and almost all the shops in Kong. There are different kinds of Octopus, there are the child Octopus, the adult Octopus, the senior citizen Octopus and the tourist Octopus which has no deposit and is sold, so you can bring it back to your home country as your souvenir.
Some Octopuses are designed with things like Pokémon and Kuromi. These also become sold Octopuses and will have no deposit. In ShenZhen it is almost the same except that its cards are not called Octopuses. The High speed rail is the railway from West Kowloon station in Hong Kong to Fu Tian station in ShenZhen. There is another way to each other by riding the East Rail Line to Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau to the checkpoints on both stations.
The reason why I chose Hong Kong and ShenZhen is because Shen Zhen has a very big variety of things to choose from, like the really big Zoo and the malls that have not just great food but a long train to move around quickly to other malls and tourist photo spots. ShenZhen has lots of things that children love too, like Kid’s cafes, indoor ski parks, cat cafes, and even a rabbit cafe! In ShenZhen there is a great variety of different cuisines, my personal favorite is the amazing grilled octopus and pumpkin soup of a spanish cuisine called Zafferano.
Hong Kong is just like this too, but is less cheaper and has a smaller variety of good food. Although all of this, Hong Kong still matches ShenZhen with its great sights. Hong Kong’s Victoria harbour has one of the most amazing sights in Hong Kong. Over all of that Hong Kong has lots of famous and trendy shops like Hashtag B in Tsim Sha Tsui and the Bakehouse in Central just to name a few. In conclusion Hong Kong and ShenZhen make a spectacular Duo because they are just not very close to each other but have many similarities and differences to help make the Duo incredible.
