Swoosh!
On slipped the ring,
Bilbo vanished and blend with the wind,
Trotting behind the dwarves,
Closely following the walking crowd.
Gasp!
A cavern-mouth awaits,
Bilbo hesitated a bit,
Marching pass the great gates,
An Elvenking with berries and red leaves crown anticipates.
Sigh!
Hiding in the darkest remotest corner,
Left poor Bilbo all alone,
Wandering about the Elvenking’s palace,
Discovering the magic that runs the place.
Growl!
Rumble the tummy of the hobbit,
Bilbo is now a real burglar,
Only to steal from the same house daily,
What a tiresome adventure this is sadly.
Snooze!
Fast asleep the chief guard and butler,
There crept in Bilbo very quietly,
Trembling in fear with the keys clink and clank,
Releasing the dwarves as the elves above sang.
