Awareness Traveling Generation
Traveling.Everyone likes it. So do I. But why do people like it?
For me, I like to travel because I can visit places and learn more about them. I also can gain friendship. That is why I do not believe no pain no gain. Since I am in Primary 3 my first examination will come.So I can relax a bit before my first examination comes. But I wonder what people do when they travel by themselves. Could the reason be below? I am not sure. Let us find out!
People travel for work etc. They bring their children along if they go for a vacation. But why do they bring us along? They do this to entertain us and bring good memories. They also do this because we watch a screen for a long time. My parents also think that I watch a screen for a long time. But I do not even have a phone! I do not think it is fair. Do you?
People travel for many reasons such as- Seeing relatives, seeing friends, migration, gastronomy, learning about cultures, hiking,to find better weather, medical purposes, etc. And they do this by themselves for some reason. Anyway, the most common reason is to spend time with relatives. Even I travel to see my relatives every year. Speaking of traveling, the place I think you should travel to is Singapore!
Yes, I recommend that you should travel to Singapore.Yes,it is expensive, but you will definitely have an awesome time here.I know this because I stay there! So please believe me and visit Singapore.
When I say Singapore everyone thinks that Singapore is too expensive! People always say “ I don’t want to go there!” It actually will not be that expensive if you follow some tips below.
You can save money by eating at hawker centres. You can try Singapore’s famous dish, Chicken Rice there! Singapore is very small so another way to save money is by using public transport. You can also create a budget for how much to spend for one day by dividing your money by how many days you are in Singapore. Like I mentioned hawker centre I will also mention my favorite hawker centre
My favorite hawker centre is at 11B Boon Tiong Road specifically at Tiong Bahru. I like this particular hawker centre because my most-liked food there is to die for! The name of the hawker centre is Food Paradise. If you like to take as much time as you want to choose food, please do not do that in Singapore. Singaporeans are serious with manners so choose your food before you join the queue otherwise you’ll get stares.
If you want to go shopping for snacks, lucky for you! Right next to Food Paradise is Tiong Bahru Plaza. So once again if you want to go shopping for snacks, this place is for you!
The average price of food here is quite cheap. For example, Chicken Rice. Chicken Rice costs 3 SGD to 5 SGD. That is why I keep on talking about Chicken Rice ! That is also quite cheap, isn’t it? Just like I recommended my favorite hawker centre I will recommend the place I think you should go to in Singapore.
The place in Singapore that I recommend is The Singapore Zoo! In The Singapore Zoo you can see- Orangutans, Lions, Elephants, Hippopotamuses, Zebras and even Komodo Dragons! I recommended the place you should go, so I will recommend a theme park.
There are three theme parks in Singapore.Their names are Universal Studios, Sentosa 4D AdventureLand and Haw Par Villa. They are all definitely awesome! But the best is none other than Universal Studios!
Universal Studios has a variety of rides and food. My most-liked ride is Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, where you will take a raft through a river where you will encounter dinosaurs (not real ones). At the end of the ride you will be submerged with laughter and… water! I recommended theme parks so I will recommend a few monuments
A few monuments are Merlions and Esplanade. A Merlion is a lion’s head and a fish’s tail. The lion was chosen because it is the national animal. The fish was chosen because Singapore was once a fishing village before Sir Stamford Raffles established it as a British colony. That is a whole other story.
The Esplanade is famous for many various reasons. One of the reasons is because it is shaped like a durian! No joke, it is shaped like a durian. It is also because Esplanade areas can provide access to rivers and many more! If you decide to go to Singapore, you should know some rules so I will state a few rules.
By far the strangest, weirdest and unusual rule in Singapore is… No selling chewing gum, but you are allowed to chew it. So please, please, please do not buy chewing gum in Singapore. Instead, buy it from another country. Other rules are normal. Here are some rules- No jaywalking, no littering, no vaping, no eating in public transport and no spitting in public. There are many more rules! They are strict, but you have to follow the rules if you want to go to Singapore.I stated a few rules so I will state some facts before I end.
A few fun facts are- Singapore was once called Temasek, Singapore is 64 islands, the national language is Malay, and Singapore’s national anthem (Majulah Singapura) is in Malay, and Singapore merged Malaysia, but on 1965 Singapore separated from Malaysia which explains why Singapore is considered a young country.
Like I said two paragraphs before I will end after I state some fun facts and everything has to end so I am done.
