I found one of the characters from Naruto is the most memorable and inspiring one to me, it’s called Might Guy. Naruto is an anime series about a ninja called Naruto, who faces a number of enemies and fights with their special abilities. This series of pictures has a theme of friendship, hard work, giving way and overcoming weaknesses. Might Guy is one of the main protagonists that stands apart and assists the main character, Naruto. Most of the important characters of these series are born in a Hidden Leaf Village, like the Jōnin Ninja, an elite ninja from that village, named Guy, and the two characters: Naruto and Sasuke. He has a green jumpsuit and enjoys being active in life. It’s for a reason that I’m the most memorable character of his: he’s not that talented. He did not have any special skills in Naruto called ninjutsu or genjutsu, but with his hard work and discipline he was able to compete and was also a rival for one of the best ninja called Kakashi (later 6th Hokage (Hokage is a leader of the town) and defeated many strong enemies). That encouraged me to believe that there is nothing they can say that I’m not a genius; I can just work a little and be disciplined and beat them.
There are numerous things that impact the confrontation of the ninjas in the Naruto universe. Most of the battles, however, rely on chakra, a special energy which allows the ninjas to perform powerful techniques and supernatural powers. Chakra also contributes to the ninja’s overall potential; the more chakra a ninja has and the more control they have over their chakra the more powerful techniques they can use and how long they can fight for. The skills of ninja fighting can be divided into three main groups: ninjutsu, genjutsu and taijutsu.
The most popular and common way is ninjutsu, where ninjas can wield elemental powers and other supernatural abilities. A large number of ninjas use ninjutsu in a significant way due to its versatility in attack and defense. The five basic chakra natures, namely fire, water, wind, lightning, and earth, are often linked to the ninjutsu. Elemental affinity is a deeply personal trait for a ninja, and may be biological, as they can receive certain abilities through what is called kekkei genkai. The Kekkei Genkai are special skills that can be inherited in a few bloodlines or clans, and can’t be taught through practice alone. Some Kekkei genkai enable users to merge multiple chakra natures into new elements, while others give more powerful physical capabilities. For instance, Sharingan of the Uchiha family enables its users to see through others with a heightened sense of sight and to replicate their technique. Ice Release is another such example of the combination of water and wind chakra to form ice-based techniques.
Besides Kekkei Genkai, the amount of chakra can also be inherited genetically. One such person is Naruto Uzumaki, who has an unusual amount of chakra. But just because one has these abilities doesn’t mean he or she will always win, as ninja combat is also communicative and strategic, and requires practice and mastery. Still, many ninjas have natural abilities and weapons in their arsenal, such as Kekkei Genkai, which are inherited and make a huge difference in the heat of combat.
Ninjutsu is the set of techniques that are physical and have superpowers, while Genjutsu is mental and aims for the opponent’s mind. By using illusion and hallucination, it is able to manipulate the opponent’s senses and mind.
Lastly, taijutsu is the third major branch of the three fundamental ninja techniques. Taijutsu is a martial art that is predominantly a physical combat technique as opposed to any supernatural abilities, which are known as ninjutsu or genjutsu. It puts the emphasis on the user’s strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and martial arts skills. In combat, many ninjas use ninjutsu more than taijutsu, but close-range combat has also been an integral part of taijutsu, and is sometimes used in conjunction with other methods to boost the effectiveness of the other fighting methods of ninjas. Taijutsu relies more on physical conditioning, discipline, and continuous training, as compared to ninjutsu or genjutsu, which are more reliant on inherited abilities or natural talent. Therefore, many people believe that having good Taijutsu skills is the basis of being a good ninja. That makes Might Guy particularly special. Though not a skilled ninjutsu and genjutsu master, he managed to overcome his lack of skills through perseverance, discipline, and hard work. It is important to delve deeper into his life and upbringing to understand how he has built the character traits he has.
Born in the Hidden Leaf Village, as the son of Might Guy. Duy’s nickname was “The Eternal Genin” since he was never promoted above genin, even throughout his entire life. Duy was also like Guy; he lacked in ninjutsu and genjutsu, making him a frequent target for other ninjas to mock and underestimate him. In spite of these misfortunes, he was always cheerful, industrious, and devoted to the cause of his comrades. His tenacity and good attitude were a big influence on Guy’s life later on.
Duy always had a strong sense of friendship, effort, and personal growth, and eventually came to the philosophy that he called “The Power of Youth.” This philosophy was later to be one of the most popular lanes to represent Might Guy’s identity. Duy wasn’t naturally gifted with ninjutsu or genjutsu skills, but he dedicated all his efforts to physical training, which he felt could overcome talent. He worked hard and was disciplined, and eventually learned the secret taijutsu “Eight Gates” that was forbidden.
The Eight Gates is one of the most powerful and lethal taijutsu skills of Naruto. However, the human body usually sets limits on how much an individual can physically do to prevent major damage. Users, however, have the ability to temporarily transcend their body’s limitations and acquire enormous power, speed, and reflexes by opening the “gates” that inhibit chakra flow within the body. The two common problems from lower gates are muscle strain and exhaustion, whereas higher gates are likely to tear muscles, break bones, and damage internal organs. The last gate, which is the Gate of Death, is given the overwhelming power, but the price of such great power is death. The inherent dangers make it too difficult for most ninjas to learn this technique through extreme exercise and discipline.
Later on, Duy protected Guy and his men from strong enemy ninjas using the Eighth Gate and died in the struggle. The incident was a pivotal moment in Guy’s life. Before he died, Guy had issues with self-confidence and self-esteem and had often been embarrassed about his lack of talent. But seeing Duy’s sacrifice changed his perception of strength, though. He knew that it was not enough to be a good ninja to just learn many nifty stunts, but to have the determination, courage, and will to protect others. Rather than dwelling on his limitations, Guy took to task what he could do through hard work and practice, and gradually, he made strides. This attitude led to his character and enabled him to maintain his positive outlook amid all the challenges and tragedies that befell him.
Last but not least, the third area of the three fundamental ninja techniques is taijutsu. Taijutsu is more based on the body than ninjutsu or genjutsu, which are more on inherited abilities and natural talent, and constant training. Therefore, many people believe that having good Taijutsu skills is the basis of being a good ninja. That’s why Might Guy is so dang unique. Though not a skilled ninjutsu and genjutsu master, he managed to overcome his lack of skills through perseverance, discipline, and hard work. It would also be good to explore more of his childhood and family history to get a better understanding of how he has developed the characteristics he has.

The Eight Gates is one of the most powerful and lethal taijutsu skills of Naruto. But one of the rules of the human body is that it won’t let the individual do too much unless there is serious damage. However, users can temporarily overcome the limitations of the body and gain a tremendous amount of power, speed, and reflexes by unlocking the “gates” blocking chakra flow in the body. The two most frequent issues with lower gates are muscle strain and muscle fatigue, while higher gates have a tendency to damage muscles, break bones, and harm internal organs. The strongest of the gates is the Gate of Death, and its costly strength = death. For most ninjas, the dangers inherent in this technique make it too difficult to learn through extreme exercise and discipline.
Later on, Duy defended Guy and his men against formidable enemies, the ninjas, through the Eighth Gate and succumbed in the fight. The incident was a pivotal moment in Guy’s life. Guy struggled with self-confidence and self-esteem prior to his death and had been embarrassed by his lack of talent a number of times. But seeing Duy’s sacrifice changed his perception of strength, though. He knew that becoming a good ninja wasn’t enough; he must be willing, courageous, and determined to help people. Rather than dwelling on his limitations, Guy took to task what he could do through hard work and practice, and gradually, he made strides. This attitude resulted in his character and allowed him to have a positive outlook in the face of all the things that went wrong and the terrible things that occurred to him.
