The second step is to ask questions regarding that piece of work, like “who are the main characters?”, “who is the protagonist?”, “what were the events?”, ” what kind of way is used by the author to deploy the story ?” and so on. On the basis of these questions, your interpretation, analysis, and opinion will be born.
The best way to start is to first select a line, activity, event, character, or another part of a literary work, then divide that segment into small chunks and individually analyze each of them.

Introduction
An introduction consists of a short summary of the literary work. Most of them contain 3–4 sentences, so the reader can get an idea of the content .
Avoid giving your opinion about it; just abridge the work. In the introduction, you should also provide the name of the author and the full title of the literary work, and also mention the segments or elements you will discuss in the body of the essay. Finally, give your thesis statement about that work.
Main Body
In the essay body, you will analyze the work. Provide a statement about what you think about the content. You need to provide statements and justify them with logically given quotations and examples.
If you have some opinion-related patterns, themes, or symbols, assure them that you can support each of them.
Analyzing literary segments necessitates deciphering their meaning, contrast, and comparison. Try to apply a literary theory to each segment. This will leave a good impression on your essay. The key to making your essay different from others is by doing logical analysis with the correct structure.
It is necessary to structure your paragraphs in an orderly manner in which you will analyze the element. Start each paragraph with a statement to develop the ground plan for your readers.
Each paragraph must embrace a certain idea, answering questions like
- “What are your thoughts about that?”
- “Do you agree with…”
- “Does that make sense?”
It would be nice if you added questions that grabbed the attention of the reader and engaged them in reflection.
Conclusion
Finally, you have to merge the main and important literary elements that you analysed or interpreted in your essay. Finally, you must summarize your entire analysis of that segment.
Explain how your analysis provides the big picture of life and how it will help readers or other people’s personal growth and how your analysis fits into literature.
