When did you participated in the monomousumi writing contest and what was your rank?
2022 – Editor’s choice award
What is your weakest point and how do you overcome it?
According to me, weakness is simply a state of mind. There isn’t any specific weakness that I can mention as I always face the situation and usually succeed in my plans. Sometimes in difficult moments for some amount of time I tend to ponder a lot. This can be considered as a phase wherein my thought process becomes prolonged but like I mentioned I don’t consider this as a weakness. According to me this is a phase wherein I tend to come up with some of my best strategies.
Who is your idol and why?
I don’t have any idol. I tend to observe and learn from each and every experience that I get and each individual that I meet. I don’t want to be like anyone. I am unique and my uniqueness can’t be compared with any other person’s qualities. Thus, idolizing someone is kind of a restrain according to me. We should be open to learn from every situation but should also maintain our own personal sky where we can write and lead our own life story the way we want from the spectacle of our own vision and not by someone else’s qualities.
Which inspires you the most why you would like to emulate them?
My constant desire of learning keeps the fire in me alive. It makes me believe that I am my own competitor and I need to be a better version of myself in future. Thus, I am my own inspiration.
What keeps you motivated in your life?
In every phase of my life my parents have been my rock solid support system. Whenever any dark cloud entered my life their love and blessings have always been my guiding light. The smile on my parent’s face is my biggest motivation. Their radiating faces keeps me going with a never ending zeal irrespective of the challenges that I face.
Where do you see yourself after 5 years from now and what is your ultimate goal?
I will be a doctorate and will also be at a higher position in my career. My academic books, research articles will be published more frequently in the international publishing house. I see my novel and my poetry books getting published as well.
What is there in your wish list?
Completing my novel and getting it published. I would also like to be in a top level managerial position some day in any field out of my multiple interest and expertise areas.
Any memory which you would like to share to the world?
Memories are to cherished and I do have many such experiences in my life. Sharing any one won’t do justice with the others as every memory is equally beautiful in some or the other way.
What’s one thing that make you different from your peers?
My peers are never my competition. I don’t have to compare myself with them. I simply have to be a better version of myself with every day that God gifts me.
What are your hobbies and how do you balance your profession/studies with your hobbies?
Dancing, singing, writing stories and poems, reading, pursuing new courses, graphic designing, gardening and sketching.
What are your writing tips for your peers? Do you have any advice for aspirants of writing contests?
Do not follow someone else’s style. Write from the heart and follow your own style.
What would you like to do your bit for the society?
Definitely something positive…

Your thought on “Essay“
How to write a winning essay?
Channelizing your thoughts and putting it across in a simplified way is an extremely crucial point when it comes to writing any piece of work. This channelizing process starts right from selection of your title. Try to select a genre wherein your passion of writing lies. This will motivate you to be your own critic and come up with a novel masterpiece. The title should be short yet precise. It should clearly deliver the idea of what the readers can expect as and when they turn the pages of the writeup that you have penned down. To capture the attention of your reader at the very first go you can begin with a relevant incident or a famous quote that resonates the idea of your essay. The incident selected by you should be recent. This will increase the relatability and validity of your work. Readers will understand that you are updated with the current aspects that are revolving around the topic under description and will be intrinsically motivated to continue with their reading activity. Elaborate your points with examples, preferably the ones which a common man encounters in his day to day life. Avoid the use of jargons. Using a complicated language is a big let down for your readers. Stay simple and unique with your own writing style. Drop in questions in-between for your readers to ponder on. This will break the monotony and will activate their cognitive process. It is not essential to answer all the questions. You can answer some and leave a small window for allowing your readers to find personalized solutions of the questions that you have just raised. Try to bring out visualizations through your writing. Avoid telling, use detailed descriptors and highlight minute aspects for making the perceptions alive. Give due credit to the reference source and avoid plagiarism. Give a proper conclusion to your essay and also suggest authentic resources for further reading where in-depth information of a similar subject can be obtained. A true reader is always in hunt of similar reading materials. They will appreciate you for this wisdom of yours and might also follow your writing regularly.
