I grew up while watching all of the movies of Akshay Kumar. There are many entertainers in the bollywood film industry but the greatest entertainer title would go to him. Akshay Kumar is a bollywood actor who has worked dedicatedly in many films. He is a great Indian actor, TV host and a producer. He is famous for his work both in comedy and adventurous movies.
Akshay kumar is famous among the audience because of his dedication for his work. He does not work just to earn money, but he treats his work as a duty. He thinks that it is his duty, a chance to change the mentality of the people that will help to make a better living world. As he is an actor, he has a lot influence on the people and he takes it as an advantage to improve the people and create a better and educated world.
Early life of Akshay Kumar-
Akshay Kumar was born on 9th of September 1967. He was born in Amritsar, Punjab. The real name of Akshay Kumar is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, later on he changed his name as per the recommendation of numerologist. He was born into a Punjabi Hindu family to Aruna Bhatia and Hari Om Bhatia. He has a younger sister named as Alka Bhatia. She was born in the year 1970 that means she is 2 years younger than her brother. His father was an army officer and he loved wrestling. Akshay Kumar’s father passed away in the year 1999.
From an early age Akshay Kumar showed his interest in sports. He completed his high school education from Don Bosco School. Later on he enrolled himself in Guru Nanak Khalsa College but he dropped his studies as he was not feeling interested in studies. He persuaded his father to send him to Thailand to learn Martial Arts. His father was an retired army officer and he has somehow saved enough money to send him to Thailand.
Akshay Kumar joined Muay Thai Camp in the Bangkok and later on started teaching martial arts to the children in Mumbai. In Bangkok he worked as a chef and a waiter to save up money as he belonged from a middle class family.
Career Beginning-
After coming from the Bangkok, he started teaching the children martial arts to earn some money. One of his student’s father was a Model Coordinator and because of the looks, hard work and skills of Akshay kumar, he decided to take him into the modeling career. That is where his journey begun. He accepted his offer and started working as a model. He himself declared that he has earned a large amount of money in just 2 days that was even more than the money that he earned in his entire career.
He thought of living like a normal individual that makes money to fill the stomach of his family, but the destiny has planned far better than his expectations. After all of his hard work as a chef, waiter and a martial arts tutor, he found a chance to work for his passion.
He got his first role in the movie Aaj in the year 1987 where he was playing a role of martial arts teacher. Later on the movie director Pramod contacted him and chose him as a main lead role in his movie Saugandh in the year 1991. He got popularity among the audience from this movie. After that movie he worked in the movie Khiladi and people became his fan due to his incredible role play.
How did Akshay Kumar’s career rise and got fame?
It took a lot of struggle, hard work and dedication for him to reach here. He got fame from the movie Saugandh and a famous movie director contacted him for a leading role in his movie named as Khiladi. He gave his best in the movie and got a lot of popularity among the audience.
The thing that makes him unique from the other actors is that he is dedicated towards his work. What so ever the work is, he does it with a lot of patience, dedication and enjoy it. Unlike other actors his main task is to make a big change in the society. He tries to make movies where he has the right to spread positivity in the world.
There are various movies such as Pad Man, Toilet- Ek Premkatha, Rustom, Shera, Mission Mangal, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, Airlift, Kesari, OMG: Oh My God!, Holiday and Mission Raniganjh.
How many awards did Akshay Kumar won?
Akshay Kumar has total 7 awards throughout his acting career. He was awarded twice with National Film Awards.
He got Filmfare Awards 2 times. He received the 1st in the year 2002 and the 2nd one in the year 2006.
He also has IIFA Awards. He won the 1st award in the year 2002 and the 2nd one in the year 2005.
He was awarded with Zee Cine Awards in the year 2018.
He got Padma Shri that is known as India’s fourth-highest civilian award. He received it in the year 2009.
Akshay Kumar Legacy and impact on the society-
Akshay Kumar is known for his healthy and fit lifestyle. He wakes up early in the morning and workout at 4 AM. People are really amazed to know this fact as 80% of the people are sleeping at the time when he completes all his daily routine. He is famous for action and comedy movies. He is 57 years old yet he is a fitness freak and he can do all the stunts on his own. People adore him for his nature strength and kind nature. The movies that he create are motivational, empowering and promotes positive change. He does not work in any movie where he has to promote negative things. Because as an actor he knows his responsibility, he knows how 1 role can severely impact the lives of his fans. Because fans try to copy their idol and if he will do bad things in the movie like drinking, smoking then his fans will consider it cool and will start doing it.

In this generation, we all are running after money. People are committing crimes for money. Even the rich people are doing bad things, ruining the lives of poor people just for the sake of money. But here comes Akshay Kumar, who is sincere and disciplined enough to promote a positive change into the society. He has reached to the highest success point yet the success has not come to his head. He is polite and a genuine guy with almost everyone. At last I would say we need more people like him who are ready to change the world into a better living place.
