Belladonna
I speak of her who holds her beauty
For the hunt is a tiring experience
Why would she run?
I speak of her who hides in plain sight
For the roar is far too dramatic for her taste
Why would she announce herself?
I speak of her who lives to be the death of others
For the poison she carries is meant to be tasted only with death
Why would she bother being sweet?
I speak of her who is to be looked at
For the cruelty of her beauty keeps her alive
Why would she ignore the balance?
I speak of her who remains quite tame
For the beauty of her remains unknown
Would you worship her at my altar?
I hear belladonna is her name.
