The new entry in one of gaming’s biggest shooter franchises is nothing to scoff at!
Call of Duty black ops 6 is the latest entry in the franchise, and It came with a vengeance! Bringing us plenty of content to chew on, so in today’s article I want to tell you all about why I think that you should give it a go!
If you do by chance want to delve into this great game and want to catch up with your friends or start at a high rank, you can always buy CoD accounts. So, the game you enter is a game that’s been tailor-made to fit you.
You probably already tried some of what Black Ops 6 brought to the table when the amazing Omni-movement system made it to Warzone and gave everyone amazing maneuverability in a game that was already incredibly fast. But don’t think that because Black Ops 6 gave Warzone some of its meal that it doesn’t have anything else cooking in the kitchen. Let’s talk about some great points about this game.
Price
Maybe the biggest hurdle when it comes to telling your friends to try a game is that they have to purchase it, and Black Ops 6 is a fully priced game. If you and your friends play on PC and Xbox, you can try it using game pass for a lot cheaper!
Campaign
Before I talk about the multiplayer, I want you to understand that you’re buying a full package deal, and that’s a lot more than a great multiplayer mode. This game comes with a highly reviewed campaign that takes a spy thriller story and puts you at the forefront of great set pieces with missions that can be more linear or open-ended. This lets you choose how to approach a situation and complete an objective. An overall great experience that will also prime you for what waits for you in multiplayer.
A take on classic multiplayer brought to the present
Call of Duty black ops 6 brings back fast-paced combat in smaller sizes of maps. While warzone has a huge map meant to hold around 100 players these 6v6, 2v2 and 8 player maps don’t have to hold themselves to this constraint, and so we get many varieties of map sizes and, with this, many different gameplay styles. Some maps are good for flanking your opponents, while some are good for holding onto positions and ambushing unaware enemies. This is truly a return to form for the franchise, and a very welcomed one.
Multiplayer modes
Black ops 6 has a more than 10 multiplayer modes now that the new season is introducing 2 new ones and there’s also limited time event modes that wait for you with every seasonal event.
The modes are:
- Team Deathmatch: pretty self-explanatory. It’s a 6v6 mode where you take out the enemy team and whoever reaches the score limit first wins.
- Domination: 6v6 mode where there are various points to capture and defend. Each captured point will give you a passive income of scoreboard points, and whoever reaches the limit first wins.
- Kill confirmed: 6v6 Team deathmatch except that for a point to count you have to go and collect a fallen opponent’s dog tag and if a different opponent takes it first it will deny your point.
- Free for all: 8 players fight each other and the first to reach the score limit wins.
- Hardpoint: Similar to domination, except in this one there’s only ever one point active at a time, and it will change between set points thought the match.
- Gunfight: this intense 2v2 mode will have you duke it out against an enemy team with premade loadouts. Everyone’s in the same level, so it’s a true test of skills.
- Headquarters: In this mode, you have to take control of a point and defend it, except the team in control of the point cannot respawn!
- Kill order: Eliminate the enemy’s high value target while keeping yours alive.
- Control: Take turns defending and attacking an area.
- Sharpshooter: Free for all mode where every player’s loadout is the same, and it changes every 45 seconds.
- Demolition: Take turns with the enemy team defending and attacking 2 different bombsites.
Thanks to the huge player base that this game has, you can be sure that you’ll find players in all of these modes, so the game won’t become stale.
Events
Much like warzone you can expect events to come and even some crossovers. Not too long ago, there was a Squid Game crossover where the game would have a timer go on and everyone had to stand still, or they would be eliminated. Much like the beloved first game that we see in the show. You can be sure that the game will have many different events that will keep the game relevant and fun!
Zombies
Zombies mode makes a return with their best iteration yet. Zombies are smarter and more deadly than ever, so you and your friends will need to be on your toes as you combat wave after wave.
Progress
Most of the game progress you make will carry over to warzone so if you’re a fan of both you actually get to keep your blueprints and loadouts from one game to the other.
Updates
Black Ops 6 might not be a live service game the same way that Warzone is, but this game still gets updates and will keep getting them and new seasons for the foreseeable future. Don’t worry about the game being ditched by the developers anytime soon.

In conclusion
These are just some reason you and your friends should all jump into this fantastic game and play to your heart’s content. The game features all sorts of new game modes, and even variants of these come in the form of limited time events. Warzone is all well and good, but Black Ops 6 truly feels like a more thrilling experience in my opinion. But hey, maybe I’m just a bit old-school
