Women empowerment refers to the power of women to make them bold enough to decide things by themselves. Women nowadays are far better when compared to women in olden days. Women empowerment is like a flavor in every women’s life. In the olden days women were not given the freedom to do so many things. They were restricted to do certain things in public.
Later reforms came in to the society and now women’s life has changed drastically. Thanks to the abolition of Sati act, widow remarriage and women’s right to property Act etc, because of which women find it easier to move freely in the society without any hurdles.
People in the past treated women as slaves. They were not given respect in the society and even in their homes. Their birth was not celebrated and women were considered as burden in every family. Women were not given education as they recognized women unworthy for education.
WOMEN ARE EMERGING SUPERPOWERS
Nowadays women compete with men in almost all the fields. They prove themselves to be better than men in all ways. They have achieved greater things and now stand as a competitor to men. From agriculture to space women have excelled. They rock the world as teachers, motivators, scientists, doctors, engineers, models, advocates, judges, Pilots, officers, etc. Women now stand as a role model for every men as most of the countries now consider women as emerging super powers, however there is a drawback in India that crimes against women is still growing in number.
Rape, and domestic violence still didn’t come to an end in many countries including India. Though acts that prohibit the practice of all these, crimes still exist in the society, women are now empowered but they are not being protected. They don’t feel secured. This attitude can be changed only by men. Every man should consider women to be his fellow being rather than treating them worse. If every men is corrected then women can definitely find a change in the environment they live in. The space men give to women really matters a lot when it comes to women’s freedom.
EQUALITY IS EVERY WOMENDREAM:
Equality is a major factor that needs to be counted on in every country as a progress. The level of gender equality in a country determines how good a country governs its people with proper laws and policies. Most of the rural side women still face a lot of hurdles in their day to day life, like stepping stones they step each day with great difficulty. There are certain norms still prevailing against women in villages.
Awareness and strict action is the need of the hour in those rural areas. The same goes to the tribal area community people. The only way to overcome all these is to educate them against their rights and duties as a responsible women. They must never degrade themselves in any circumstances, such willpower needs to be boosted among women to sustain in this world today. Besides all these women should come up in retaining their dignity and self-esteem.
Only if women fight for their rights, men will have the fear that women too should be treated in a dignified way. Women started emerging now, as days pass by they will become even bolder than now. The success of a country depends on how well it respects women and how well a woman is successful in a country.
WOMEN A MAGIC IN THEMSELVES:
The dignity of women is the matter of concern in most of the under developed countries. Only if all the countries achieve the greatest step of attaining freedom for women, the world can find the change in the life of every women. To look into the better nation in the near future every parent must consider it as their duty to educate the girl child on how special they are to this world and must also tell about the uniqueness and the challenges they have to face in, to come up as budding roses.
The male child of the family must also be educated by the parents on the importance of gender equality. It is of utmost priority for every parent to do the needful to bring a drastic change in the coming days. Finally women empowerment is not only about how successful a women grows but it is also how well a woman is treated in the society that she lives. This goes up to all the countries in the world.
It is not about a single community achievement. The triumphant sense of freedom to women can be really felt only if every women in the nook and corner of the world enjoy their own freedom which is priceless and unmatchable. Let us hope to see a world that is going to be even better than today by understanding the magic role of women in the development of the nation.
