Many times we have read a lot of articles, essays and journals regarding unity, is unity such an easy thing to gather?
We have heard the story how a single stick can be broken, so as the two sticks but rather very difficult to break the entire bundle of sticks…the story is influential and true but it is not that easy to substitute sticks with human being. different human beings belong to different cultures, different societies and different socio and psychological backgrounds, it is rather very difficult to gather each and every individual’s mental state and thinking in a unidirection, but when this rare task is achieved the results are rather beautiful.the biggest example of it is india’s freedom, till 1947 india was regarded as a village a country that always had the habit of being ruled no one can expect that one day that nation would become so strong which will not only fight back against the prevailing evils of child marriage, sati system etc and through away the rulers but also became the first nation to give voting right to every adult,just after the independence even the nation as strong as united states took 100 years to give this right.
“SANITY IS ANALOGUS TO HUMANITY”
Humanity is the most important aspect of living, a human without a soul to feel other’s pain is a mere “body”,one such important aspect of humanity is “cleanliness”.
Just as “work is worship” in the same manner “cleanliness is next to godliness”.
sometimes intentionally and sometimes non intentionally our certain activities lead to the detereoration of environment. some of these activities are listed below:
- Use of c.f.c (chloro fluoro carbons) in the refrigerators
since quite a long time all the refrigerators come equipped with the chemical known as cfcs, whenever such a refrigerator is opened these along with the coolant and other gases escape out and move directly towards the upper layers of atmosphere while mainly affecting the ozone layer known as ozone depletion. - Throwing wrappers and wastes other than the designated place:
a blue and a green dustbin is specified for throwing wet and dry wastes respectively, not throwing the leftovers in the specified place not only made the roads of the city look dirty and create a bad impression on the tourists but also when such heap reaches the water level causes the death of water creatures and thereby affecting food chain. - Adopting unhygienic means:
adopting self hygiene is very important, if the person himself is prone to unhygienic habits he can never learn to live a quality life.

“Delhi”, the national capital of india faces the evil condition of smog every , to overcome which earlier methods of “even odd” were launched that werequite successful too.
later a revolution of “swacch bharat abhiyan” was launched, the method and approach was itself epic, every child, and teen, young and old was motivated to keep his workplace and surroundings clean. the mere words of our prime minister shree Narendra Modi ji was more than enough to make every individual responsible towards her motherland…
SOME MAJOR GOALS THAT HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED THROUGH SWACCH BHARAT ABHIYAN ARE AS FOLLOWS:
The most important goal it has achieved is in recreating the mindset of the people, the abhiyan asked everyone irrespective of age, gender, caste and income to follow the path of cleanliness which made people actually realize “NO WORK IS SUPERIOR OR INFERIOR”.
It has made Delhi smog free to a very greater extent(much greater as compared to the “Even Odd” system.
It has further lead to the opening of many new public toilets in all over the India, which has further resulted in the village people to live hygienic and non sedentary lifestyle.

HONESTY PLEDGE:
Being honest to self is equally as important as being honest to others, in order to proceed towards a better society we have to give up our patriarchal mindset of what others will think about us. There are lot of sections of IPC for giving the punishment to the culprits of assault, abuse and murder, but still most of the cases do not even get registered, if at any point of time we suspect any mishap in our locality we should be honest enough to report the crime in police station.
HOME FOR ALL :
Here home refers to the comfort we can give to the need , often we replace a newly purchased jeans or accessory over a newly launched brand, that one thing in which we are “no longer interested”, might mean a world to someone.
HAPPINESS SHARING:
Every “living” creature deserves happiness and going as per the criteria of “living creature”, plants and trees also deserve happiness, which can be rendered to them via fertile soil, good irrigation and non plucking of flowers, as a return gift they will give us shade, juicy fruits and vegetables.
HEALTH PRIORITY:
Any campaign, scheme or benefits launched by government or any other organization is directly or indirectly for the human welfare as “A healthy mind resides in a healthy body”, it is very important to adapt healthy and hygienic lifestyles which can only be achieved through balanced diet and clean environment”.
HUNGER ERADICATION:
Earth is regarded as watery planet as major portion of it is covered with water yet only 2% of that water is available for drinking water as rest is either in form of glaciers or at difficult places, most people of “haiti” have as less food resources as they have to survive with mud made cookies, as a student we might not raise fund but we can for sure reduce the wastage of food as much as we can.
HUMAN FOR HUMAN:
Whenever any girl becomes the victim of any assault or crime a general thinking that evokes is “WHAT SOCIETY WILL THINK?”,but the reality is that it’s we only who create the society, if our own thinking is good and educative entire society would be caring .
HELLO TO NATURE:
Sometimes the ideas within the box are better than “ideas outside the box”, instead of switching to chemicals every time or investing money in “plastics”, we should must hold for a minute and think of generating new ideas through gifts of nature by using: natural medicine Neem and natural beautifying agent Haldi .
