Sports are those physical activities that avail all the hidden potentials to blossom beautifully in the sunlight. Sportsmen in an endeavor to succeed endure resilience but the results are huge. They never give a chance for their distractions to overpower their goals, desires, and aspirations. Out of all those achievers, that one sportsman whose strategies, thoughts, beliefs, and adversities connects to me the most is P.V Sindhu.

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, an inspirational badminton player, has opened the gates of immense success in her freshly unfolded career. This passive desire gradually started when she turned 8 years. Nevertheless, she is invariably acknowledged as the first Indian to emerge as a badminton world champion. Hailing from Hyderabad, this wonder was blessed to P.V Ramana and P. Vijaya on 5th July 1995. Holding a strong abstraction P.V. Sindhu has inspired millions. Immensely motivated by Pullela Gopichand she chose badminton as a career despite succeeding from two national-level volleyball players. Her preference during this dilemmatic situation helped her transmute into one of the sharpest knives in badminton.

However, P.V Sindhu’s invariable inspiration is her father, holder of the Arjuna Awardee for volleyball. As we dig into the prehistoric succeeders’ Zhang Ning a former badminton player hailing from China is cherished as the first woman to attain five or more medals during the world championship. After this memorable player, P.V Sindhu emerged to take a lead. Many people surmise that this pronounced kinesthetic ability is nothing but a god’s gift. However, P.V Sindhu has undergone immense resilience and snag during her invulnerable approach towards success.

The contemplation of forming an ambitious career was followed by immense scuffles and traumas but also valor, persistence, and assertiveness. P.V Sindhu, standing as a barricade against all the difficulties lurking her way, not only woke up at 3:00 am but also traveled 120 km by train every day for 12 years. Indulged towards her success, P.V Sindhu’s career was bustling with tournaments because of which she lived without her phone for about 3 months. This fact however refuses to flourish within the digital era. Her scheduled life however intervened into her personal life thereby preventing P.V Sindhu from attending her sister, P.V Divya’s wedding. Not only did badminton appeal to this young aspirant but also swimming, a hobby she cherishes. In the early years of her interest, Mehboob Ali’s guidance and dynamism instigated the basics of badminton to P.V Sindhu. From here there was no looking back. This perseverance bearer obtained her education from Auxilium high school, Hyderabad, and St. Ann’s college for women, Hyderabad. In 2009, in Sub-junior Asian badminton championships, orchestrated in Colombo, P.V Sindhu bagged the bronze medal. Her progress and success rate soon became insurmountable. Holding a deep sense of propitiousness, the sixteen-year-old qualified for the All-England Open Championships. Though she was unable to defeat the Taiwanese professional badminton player, Tai Tzu-Ying, she was however unable to meet the confidence of this tough player.

With a strong endeavor P.V Sindhu qualified to the finals of the 2014 India Open Grand Pix Gold but unfortunately was defeated by her senior compatriot, Saina Nehwal, India’s prestigious badminton player. During the year 2017, she won the Syed Modi International thereby defeating the Indonesian player Gregoria Maliska in the finals. In the year 2018, P.V Sindhu was 3 steps away from bagging the All-England Open Championships as she was sadly vanquished by the Japanese badminton player considered to be one of the finest players of the world, Akane Yamaguchi. During the same year, unpredictable steps onto the Asian games made her bag the 3rd position.

Also, her commendable stand against the three-time winner, Saina Nehwal at the Indian National Badminton Championships, was exceedingly brave. As P.V Sindhu’s impregnable approach towards her goal continued, she entered the world championships with a bang. Nevertheless, she ensnared the fifth position. This convictional trajectory motivated P.V Sindhu to take her career to the next level. Due to her eulogizing progress at the Rio Olympics 2016, India’s indelible pride Sachin Tendulkar in an endeavor of appreciation gifted her a car.
