The movie Dhol is the ideal prototype of the quote .This is a full time comedy movie that revolves around the life of 4friends.This movie depicts that friendship is not just a relationship but a bond that is based on never ending promises, sorrows,joys and love.This is the most joyful and yet virtuous movie for society and makes an individual that friendship is not fake always.
This movie is a creative workpiece released on 14 September 2007produced by Shailendra Singh,Sarita Patil, Satish Kaushik and is directed by Priyadarshan .The story plot of was written by Suresh Krishnan And the dialogues are written by Manisha Korde. The cinematography was presented by Piyush Shah.This movie was made in a budget of 14 crores and was a hit on box office with a return of 23.27 crores. The movie Dhol Hamming Tanushree Datta, Sharman jhosi, Rajpal Yadav,Kunal Khemu, Tussar Kapoor ,om Puri and others.
Martand “Maru” Dhamdere, Pankaj “Pakya” Tiwari, Sameer “Sam” Arya, and Gautam “Goti” Sisodia are roommates in Pune who are bound together by their ambition to make it big in life with the least effort possible. Each one tries his hand at finding a shortcut to success but ends up being in even deeper trouble. Things get worse when the four decide to take some desperate measures to end their misery once and for all. They came across one of their waiter friend who has set up his own.
These four seeked help from him and asked about whole senarario he suggested them to take bank loan and open a hardware shop and settle themselves but unfortunately they could not receive the loan cause the manager of the bank got transferred and the new manager did not approved of it .hence They take loans from Martand’s maternal uncle at very high interest. His maternal uncle is a parsimonius person and works as a police officer. But unfortunately they could not do th same as they are slackers by habit. They believe the only way to get rich without working hard is to marry a wealthy girl. As luck would have it, a rich girl named Ritu arrives in their neighborhood with her grandparents.
All four set out with their individual plans to marry her but end up discovering a shocking truth. Ritu came to the city to find out about her brother’s, Rahul, killers.All four of them try to impress Ritu, and they discover that Rahul died along with his friend Jaishankar “Jai” Yadav. They try hard, and finally, Pankaj decides to marry Ritu. Soon before marriage, Ritu finds the secret that Rahul and Jai were in contact with a notorious gang leader, Zikomo. Ritu with the help of sofi (Jai’s girlfriend)finds that the four were bluffing all the time just to impress her, and so she starts avoiding them. Then this gangleader zikomo contacts these four and cleverly kidnaps them thinking them to ask for the dhol.
But somehow they escape out his court.This dhol was actually the turning point of movie because it carried all the savings of zikomo which was stolen by jai cause he wanted to settle down with sofi his girlfriend. One day Zikomo finds out about Ritu and his relationship with Rahul and kidnaps Ritu and her grandparents. He asks for them to hand over the Dhol if they want to see him alive, but Ritu’s family members do not know about any Dhol. He confesses to killing Rahul and Jai. These four feel guilty and wish to settle all issues with Ritu so they head to their house to tell the truth but they came to know that Ritu and her family were kidnapped by zikomo . Now these four came up with an idea to save Ritu and her family.
These four called all their rivals and made them fight among themselves. They and Ritu along with the family escape the spot and save themselves. Now ritu heads towards sofi house to save her from zikomo and in a hurry they leave the gas switched on and some how managed to escape and Zikomo is killed in a self-explosion in the end. Ritu hands over the Dhol, and the four of them find it filled with money, realizing that Zikomo was after the money and not the Dhol. They run behind Ritu’s car after she leaves, as the film ends.
Eventually I would say that this movie is a fantastic one with a blend of comedy a little bit of fear and suspense. This is a friendship based movie. True friendship is not solely based on grand gestures or monumental events. It is often the little moments that matter the most. It’s the late-night conversations, the inside jokes, and the shared laughter that create lasting memories.
Whether it’s enjoying a cup of coffee together, going for a walk in the park, or simply sitting silently and enjoying each other’s company, it is these small yet meaningful moments that strengthen the bond of friendship.In times of triumph, friends celebrate our achievements and push us to reach new heights.
