Contrary to the trend of investment outflow from Ukraine, businessman Maksym Krippa is actively increasing his presence in the country. Over the past two years, his investments in various projects have already exceeded $100 million. This step emphasizes Krippa’s confidence in the prospects for economic recovery and development of the Ukrainian market.
Also, in an interview with Property Investments Dubai, Maksym Krippa shared his vision of investment activity and identified the main priorities for the development of his own business in Ukraine.
Maksym Krippa’s choice is unconventional: instead of short-term, quick investments, he chose a strategy of systemic investments aimed at long-term growth. One of the key areas for the entrepreneur was Kyiv real estate, which, according to him, plays a strategic role in strengthening the local business climate. For Krippa, investing in the capital’s real estate is not just a financial asset, but also an investment in the future recovery and economic stability of Ukraine.
Maksym Krippa and his most high-profile real estate deals: two landmark acquisitions in Kyiv
Maksym Krippa focuses on unique properties that cannot be replicated, and one of such investments was the Parus business center in Kyiv. The asset acquired by the entrepreneur was experiencing financial difficulties and was burdened with debts worth about UAH 600 million. Nevertheless, the change of ownership was the impetus for rapid changes and new prospects for the complex.
After Krippa became the owner, Parus changed its management approach dramatically: it optimized its work with tenants and improved the efficiency of the premises, which led to a rapid increase in revenues. In a short time, the occupancy rate of office space reached over 90%, making the business center one of the leaders in the capital’s market in terms of profitability.
Maksym Krippa made one of the biggest acquisitions of the year, acquiring the iconic Ukraine Hotel in Kyiv for ₴2.512 billion. This deal was not only a significant investment in his portfolio, but also the first major privatization in the last two years to be conducted through the Prozorro platform.
With this acquisition, Krippa has significantly strengthened its presence in the premium segment of commercial real estate in the capital. The businessman has once again demonstrated his ability to effectively use favorable market conditions, choosing moments when asset valuation opens up prospects for significant growth in the future.
Krippa intends to carry out a large-scale modernization of the hotel, which will allow it to attract a more demanding audience and reach a new level of commercial attractiveness. The investor expects that after improving the service and upgrading the infrastructure, the value of the property will increase significantly, and the hotel will strengthen its position in the premium segment of the Kyiv market.
This transaction, which was completed through Prozorro, is a strategic step by the businessman in the development of exceptional real estate in the capital and will allow Maksym Krippa to further strengthen his position in the luxury segment.
