We are busy, we wany to do everythinh quickly, we don’t even want to prepare food. Most of us rely on junk food three times a day. Junk food consumption has numerous negative effects on health, increasing the risk of obesity, cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and even some types of cancer. A healthy diet is essential for good health and nutrition.Nutritious foods, rich in vitamins, minerals and other beneficial compounds, offer a wide range of health benefits. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits. They are important sources of vitamins, minerals, dietary fibre, plant protein and antioxidants.
People with diets rich in vegetables and fruit have a significantly lower risk of obesity, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and certain types of cancer. Choosing fresh fruits instead of sweet snacks such as cookies , cakes and chocolates helps to reduce consumption of sugars. Eat what is necessary, try to avoid oily food and meat. Include more vegetables and pulses in your diet.
We can cultivate fruits and vegetables for our daily use. But don’t use chemical fertilizers for good yield. Because heavy metals such as Mercury, Lead, Cadmium and Uranium have been found in fertilizers, which can cause disturbances in the kidneys, lungs and liver and cause cancer. Ammonium Nitrate causes other problems such as eye and skin irritation. Organic farming offers health benefits by reducing pesticide exposure and increasing nutritional content in food, such as higher antioxidant levels and certain minerals. Additionally, organic meat and diary products contain more omega-3 fatty acids, while avoiding antibiotics may help in the fight against antibiotic resistant bacteria.
