Environmental problems arise simultaneously with human civilization, because humans use and live in the environment a lot, and are influenced by the times. This is also an important issue in globalization.

There are a number of environmental problems, namely environment, growth, economy, knowledge. Those are the four environmental problems in developed countries that are common. What is meant by the first problem, namely environmental problems, are problems such as cleanliness, damage, natural disasters, and pollution.

The first environmental problem, namely cleanliness, cleanliness is a problem that is very common in developing countries. Awareness to keep the environment clean in developing countries is still very low, causing a lot of garbage in various places, even garbage to pile up like a mountain. The most abundant amount of waste is usually food waste. Food waste causes a lot of food waste and loss which also affects the greenhouse gas effect every year. This happens because there are many food consumers who waste in purchasing excess food, which in the end if they cannot finish it, they will only be thrown away, giving rise to a lot of new waste. This also causes a shortage of food, which in turn affects the health and mortality rate of the population. Food that should still be eaten or given to others is wasted and becomes waste that disturbs the cleanliness of the environment. That is why waste is the biggest problem in environmental cleanliness.

The second environmental problem is damage, the damage that often occurs is forest damage. This forest damage is caused by deforestation, illegal logging, and also forest fires. This can damage the forest and at the same time all the ecosystems or living things that live in the forest.

The third problem of the environment is natural disasters. Natural disasters can be caused by nature itself or by humans. An example of a natural disaster that often occurs in developing countries is flooding. Floods that occur can be caused by regional developments that cause no disposal sites, causing blockage of water and garbage, then flooding occurs. The blockage of water along with the waste that causes flooding can occur due to the lack of awareness of people in developing countries about the cleanliness of their water environment, so that during heavy rains the drainage, which should flow smoothly, is clogged with garbage.

The fourth environmental problem is pollution. This pollution can include water pollution, air pollution, and noise pollution. What mostly happens in developing countries is water pollution and air pollution. Water pollution that usually occurs and occurs a lot is the accumulation of garbage in the sea or rivers, causing flooding such as problems with cleanliness. Meanwhile, air pollution is usually caused by factories and vehicles on the road. The large number of factories can cause air pollution, because factories usually emit steam or smoke during the production of their products. And on the road, there’s a lot of air pollution from vehicles, sometimes there’s even cigarette smoke. Both of these are very influential in the high level of pollution or air pollution in developing countries.

Then, the problem of growth in developing countries that affects the environment is the high number of births in developing countries. Which besides that, there are still many parents who lack understanding in caring for the environment, so that their children will most likely also lack understanding about the environment. Bad environment can also affect the growth of children. So, that’s why growth is one of the problems in developing countries.

The next environmental problem in developing countries is the economy. This economic problem also influences and is influenced by problems of cleanliness, growth, and knowledge. The environment when the economy is low tends to be unclean, which affects the growth process in that environment, and a bad economy can be caused by bad knowledge as well. The growth rate which is affected by the high birth rate also causes a bad economy, because it is unable to support the life of too many family members. This still happens a lot in developing countries.

The last problem that occurs in many developing countries is the problem of knowledge. Just like the previous problems, this knowledge problem also affects and is affected by cleanliness, growth, and economy. Knowledge is needed to understand the importance of environmental cleanliness, good growth in the right environment, and also to improve the economy. But in this developing country, there are still many who lack awareness of the importance of knowledge. Knowledge is also very much needed to keep up with the times, to help improve and provide solutions to environmental problems in this developing country. Therefore, lack of knowledge is an important problem in this developing country environment.
