I had many unique and amazing experiences when I visited several tourist destinations in Dieng. I started by enjoying sunrise on Sikunir Hill. I still remember the first time I set foot on Sikunir Hill. The cool, fresh air makes me feel more alive. My friends and I decided to wait for the sun to rise at the top of the hill. By morning, the sky was starting to turn red and orange. I felt like I was above the clouds, with a spectacular view. After sunrise, my friends and I headed to Sikidang Crater. This crater is located at an altitude of around 2,000 meters above sea level.
I felt like I was in a giant crater, with smoke coming out of the ground. I also saw several sulfur miners at work. After that I continued visiting Arjuna Temple, this temple is located in the Dieng Temple complex, which is one of the oldest Hindu temple complexes in Java. I felt like I was in a folk tale, with the unique and beautiful temple architecture. After visiting Arjuna Temple, my friends and I headed to Telaga Warna. This lake is located at an altitude of around 2,000 meters above sea level. I felt like I was inside a painting, with the color of the air changing depending on the angle of view. and finally, my friends and I gave testimonials about a typical Dieng food, namely ongklok noodles. Onglok noodles are noodles served with a distinctive and delicious sauce.
Onglok noodles have a unique and distinctive taste. These noodles are served with a sauce made from a mixture of chicken stock, sweet soy sauce and other spices. The thick and savory sauce makes these noodles taste very delicious.
That was my experience when visiting Dieng, the Land Above the Clouds. Dieng is indeed an extraordinary tourist destination, with spectacular natural beauty, rich culture and interesting experiences. From the sunrise on Sikunir Hill to enjoying delicious Onglok Noodles, every moment in Dieng is an unforgettable experience.
