“Attitude is Everything” is an incredible book that I came across in my life. As the author states, “The Night that Transformed his Life”, I saw myself in a different light after reading this book.

Any book may affect a person’s view on life, but this one went so deep into me that I was awake the entire night, trying to find out what I was doing wrong in my life.

After reading this book, I changed my mind about writing and overcame my fear of it, and now I work as a content writer for a few businesses. So let’s take a deep dive into this life-changing book by Jeff Keller.

ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING

THE NIGHT THAT CHANGED MY LIFE

The author feels dumb working as a Lawyer and gets stucks in his life. One night he was sleepless and was channel surfing and he saw an amazing infomercial product- THE MENTAL BANK. it’s all about that attitude can change our life. He immediately orders that and starts to learn. He states that HELP COMES FROM A UNLIKELY SOURCE. So after learning that product he felt really great and started reading motivational books and thus he turned into a motivational speaker and a writer.

PART 1- SUCCESS BEGINS IN THE MIND

LESSON 1-YOUR ATTITUDE IS YOUR WINDOW TO THE WORLD

The author begins with a fictional narrative about two individuals who have opposing viewpoints about life. One of the characters has an optimistic outlook, while the other has a pessimistic view. He explains that one with a positive attitude approaches an issue with wisdom and seeks a solution, whereas one with a negative mentality complains about the situation and feels trapped.

He gives an example of when we were learning to walk and we fell down several times, but we were able to get back up and walk because we were in a positive mentality at the time and our only objective was to walk.

The reason for this attitude is that when we are young, we are positive and our mental window is clean, free of doubts, fears, and other negative emotions. However, as we grow older and are exposed to the world of criticism, fears, and rejections, our mental window becomes dirty, and we fall into the trap of a negative mindset, forgetting to see the opportunities in the problems we face.

The author claims that it is possible to clean our mental window and can become positive and get a lot of opportunities which he personally tried in his life. This is the method author Jeff switched his carrier from a lawyer to a motivational speaker and author.

He concludes by telling a Positive attitude will not be the sole reason for being successful but without a positive attitude, we will not be able to choose a positive action. So it is necessary to clean our mental window.

LESSON 2-YOU ARE A HUMAN MAGNET

WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK ABOUT, according to the author. So, by thinking positively and positively about our objective, we will be able to take a step closer to our goal. It doesn’t help to think positively about our objective only for a few minutes before slipping into the trap of self-doubt. It is ineffective to visualise achievement for only a few minutes. Success is attracted to those who have a strong belief in themselves.

LESSON 3-PICTURE YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS

Visualization, according to the author, is the key to success. To taste success, every successful person employs this approach. The first step to success is to visualise the route to success and the success point. In today’s competitive environment, understanding that success is determined by you, not by others, is critical. It is vital to visualise every step of your success path before you achieve it in order to attract attention to yourself. This attitude motivates us to follow the road of achievement.

LESSON 4- MAKE A COMMITMENT…AND YOU’LL MOVE MOUNTAINS

The author conveys the importance of commitment and the mentality about commitment. When staying committed itself is a goal, we cannot achieve the desired things. As a result, the author emphasises that being committed is not a required activity, but rather a willingness to attain your goal. The author tries to illustrate that commitment is the first step to success, and that failing to do so will lead us nowhere. Commitment to the purpose will provide us with the mental fortitude to overcome challenges along the way to achievement. As a result, dedication is the first step toward success.

LESSON 5-TURN YOUR PROBLEM INTO OPPORTUNITIES

The author strongly believes that problems are necessary for everybody to unlock the door of opportunities. He conveys that if there are no problems people never know to find solutions. Problems are the only academy that teaches humans to be emotionally strong. So the author says problems are ones to be approached in a positive way for a new beginning. so every problem gives a choice to redefine our goal and it is you who have to find solutions.

LESSON 6- YOUR WORDS BLAZE A TRAIL

Words play a major role in our life. Our success or failure is entirely reliant on our words, according to the author. As a result, the process of success begins with our thoughts and culminates with our words. He argues that our self-talk is a crucial tool for success and that it is a closely guarded secret. Positive ideas alone do not guarantee success, but the words we say about ourselves on a daily basis have a significant impact on our lives. When we have a positive self-perception and strong beliefs in ourselves, we are more likely to arrive at our destination

LESSON 7-HOW ARE YOU

This is a normal phrase according to us as we hear and answer this question daily, but the author claims, it is a very important question. He makes sure that when someone asks us this question, the answer is very significant because it determines our attitude. He also discusses the types of responses are Positive, Mediocre, and Negative. And, in his opinion, the one who replies positively and enthusiastically wins the day.

There are individuals who respond adversely and some who reply mediocrely. those people are toxic to us because they send a certain vibe to us, causing us to slip into that trap, thus spoiling the day.

LESSON 8- STOP COMPLAINING

We grumble about the situation, the people around us, and our health in particular because of our Inability. As a result, this is a roadblock to our aim. Complaining about the circumstance and refusing to accept responsibility for our incompetence is the gravest mistake we can make. We’ll never succeed with this explanation, he admits.

He also encourages us to count our blessings rather than complain and explains how to express our gratitude. Complaining does nothing but undermines our faith in the succeeding process.

Part 2-HEAVEN HELPS THOSE WHO ACT

LESSON 9- ASSOCIATE WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE

The author begins by stating that the “Scent of a flower changes the Fragrance of a room”, so select your companions wisely. Positive people always make you feel better, but negative people are not as enthusiastic and convey a negative vibe to others. As a result, it is beneficial to us to be surrounded by positive people all the time. Even if you are crystal clear about your objective and are on the verge of achievement, being surrounded by negative people is going to spoil the success. Because Negative people do not have a growth mindset, which causes others to become stagnant as well.

LESSON 10- CONFRONT YOUR FEAR AND GROW

The value of taking risks in our lives is reinforced by the author. That is pushing ourselves beyond our comfort zones. Everyone is afraid of losing or being put in a difficult circumstance, but the one who overcomes that fear is the one who earns success. So, the takeaway from this lesson is to grow comfortable with uncomfortable situations. He also implies that the one who cannot overcome their fear is the person who knows the least about achievement.

LESSON 11-GET OUT THERE AND FAIL

The author strongly believes in the magic of failures. The journey of success has many hurdles and the one who is ready to face the failure chooses the right opportunities the failure gives. The author conveys that persistence is the key to success. So according to him, the person who is ready to face any kind of failure is the one who is willing to taste success. he also tells that failure is a game-changer, because when you are ready to face failure, it opens a new opportunity in its solution. Failure, according to the author, is a sign that we are on the right track. We gain a fresh perspective on things as we solve problems.

LESSON 12-NETWORKING THAT GETS RESULT

Getting to know other people is a vital part of achieving success. Knowing about other people’s lives and cultures, as well as the kind of job they do, is a form of knowledge. His confession is that networking is only feasible if we have a positive attitude. People will not trust you unless they believe you are good for them, therefore networking is a difficult part of life. You attract more people when you have a positive attitude. When you have a broad network, you have a lot of help in anything you do. This, however, does not happen overnight. This will require time and effort. It is essential to attract positive individuals to yourself.

CONCLUSION

every action we do now has a reaction later. And the present is the reaction of the past. So for a successful and tranquil existence, tackling everything with a positive attitude is important.
