As we all know only God knows the future as it is because God has the Knowledge of future, Humans can only predict the future based upon their limited abilities. We begin with this because it’s important to know our boundaries as humans, especially when we are talking about the future.
Why Predictions are made & Why it’s important?
Well it is very Important to prepare ourselves for the future so we can plan & prepare accordingly. So the experts from the field tend to make predictions for the future & plans are made accordingly.
What is Politics & Why it is important to Understand Politics?
“Politics is chiefly concerned with making Policies , the Vision Statement is promoted to Public , strategies are made to Gain Power & then ultimately time comes to Implement the Policy after gaining power, however most fundamental part on which Policies are made is an Ideology”
The word Politics is often associated with many things: Family Politics, Office Politics , Club Politics, Housing Society Politics & many more things. The Center of all this is Power, Politics is concerned with gaining power & then countering the power in case of failure. But the struggle is always about power, because without power you can’t implement your policies, ideas & plan of action.
However, that’s not the Politics with which we are concerned here today , we are concerned with the politics which affect lives of millions & billions.
That is Politics of National & International level. That’s The Real Politics or main politics
Why is it Understand Politics?
It is obvious that we must understand politics because politics is something through which policies are being formed , rules & regulations are being made , laws are being passed , the administration of the state is managed. It has a direct effect on our day to day life. It also has an effect on our business profession & economy.
It is important to understand not only the national level politics or the regional local level politics but it’s important to keep a firm eye on International Politics. As we know the world has become a global village so whatever happens in one part of the world has an effect on other parts of the world. For example, recently the Donald Trump administration imposed heavy tariffs on India. It obviously created an impact on Indian businesses & economy.
Global Economy
As we know we are living in the days of globalisation and privatisation so the impact of national economy & policies are impacting the world economy & vice versa. Hence it’s very important to understand National & International Politics.
In order to understand the future of something it’s important to know the past.
History of International Politics
Colonial Era & Powerful British Empire: If we look at the history of international politics it was dominated by the British which ruled almost 75 percent of the world region. Nobody, even the most powerful United States of America was once upon a time ruled by the British.
However the Journey of the British Empire has turned from the Most Powerful Country in the world to just obeying & following America now.
League of Nations to United Nations Organization: A League of Nations was first of a kind effort to establish an International organisation for dealing with issues of International Peace & Security, this happened after World War 1 when the world felt the need to prevent future wars.
However despite some success it could not prevent the world from World War 2 . Then the United Nations was formed around 1945 & the story was repeated. Despite some success it has failed.
Yes technically World War 3 hasn’t happened but there are wars everywhere since the past 5 years.
From Bipolar to Multi Polar World: USA emerged as the strong powerhouse of international politics which was challenged by the USSR now it’s called Russia. World long lived under this power tussle of the Big Two until the recent past when China emerged as a Super Power.
Emergence of China
In the past 3 -4 decades China emerged as an economic powerhouse. China knows if it has to rule the world it has to become an economic global engine. It did become a major powerhouse in the world political arena.
The Long standing Super Power America obviously doesn’t like it , Russia is not bothered that much with China because Russia knows its own power if it has to go to war. China is also aware of Russian power & hence it never messes with Russia.
Future Predictions of International Politics for 2026
Unfortunately the political future doesn’t look bright based upon the preceding 5 years & current situation.
Wars will Continue:- War crimes have become a new normalcy of International Politics.
What’s been happening in Ukraine for 3 years , a beautiful country like Ukraine is ravaged , the peace talks go on but not much on the surface.
The Torment on Palestine will continue
With in between breaks which come & go to show to the world but in practice & in reality Israel will keep torturing Palestine as it has been doing for the past 75 years.
Political Turbulence in Iran & Possible attacks from USA & Israel
USA is trying to bring a regime change in Iran & Iran may also be attacked in case it didn’t happen by Israel & USA or by Israel supported by USA.
COUNTER CHINA STRATEGY BY USA
As China wants to expand in Asia , the USA wants to expand in Latin America. This is just to gain access to oil & make a statement to China that we are still the most powerful. This expansion is Capturing the land through illegal occupation & by threatening with mighty military power.
Eye on Canada
The USA has an eye on Canada & making it part of the USA. Trump has given hints on it. Not that it will happen straight away but it’s a long term plan.
Tarrif Wars
The USA has begun Tariff Wars. Many people take it as negative because they are thinking from their countries perspective but honestly the USA is totally right in safeguarding its economic interests. However economically it’s not going to be good year.
Economically Not Bright
The future of 2026 doesn’t seem bright economically. Just for saying it for the sake of sounding positive, if I say that economically there will be a great time or possible revival then that is wrong.
Reasons?
Corona Impact & on going wars
Honestly, the world has still not recuperated from the economic impact of Corona destruction. What made it worse are ongoing wars.
Artificial intelligence impact
Artificial intelligence is going to impact the world economy in a very negative manner. It will help companies with cheap labour that it gets by using artificial intelligence but the massive unemployment that it will create and it has already started creating will ultimately reduce the purchasing power of people. So the end result of it is going to be negative.
Future Predictions post 2026: It’s not possible for us to only look at 2026 & not look at the upcoming years.
Global Warming & Rising Sea Levels : It’s already going worse & will go worse day by day. Nothing is going to change unless the world leaders & we the people take it seriously.
Labour Laws will become thing of Past: There is going to be a similar situation as existed in the past , labour laws will be violated & will be changed.
We often hear from many Business Tycoons that they want to increase working hours & even make sunday as working. These statements aren’t given without a purpose in order to double their revenue they want to increase working hours without any overtime.
Massive unemployment will force people to work for low salary & do free overtime.
Russian Plan of Europe
Russia wants to go back to the olden days of being the powerful USSR that it was once upon a time & that’s only possible if it can include Europe in its territory & occupy it. It’s not possible to say exactly if it will happen this way or whether it can happen but that’s certainly the long term agenda of Russia.
China will keep growing more Powerful
China will keep growing more and more powerful because China has realised that no country, not even the United Nations, can do anything to China. China also is a member of the security council and if there is any effort to take any action against China then China will obviously use the veto power.
Big Possibility of Upcoming Viruses
As we know China has deadly viruses in its laboratory & in upcoming 8-10 years & at the gap of every such interval, New Virus will spread in the world like Corona. It’s not possible to say exactly what the intensity of each of the viruses but one thing is certain: China will keep producing deadly viruses. Officially they will of course deny it, but who will accept it?
Yes it’s not yet happened or we don’t have exact proof hence we have to use the word Big Possibility. But why did The Corona, which spread throughout the entire world didn’t move beyond Wuhan in China? Why was the Investigation team from UNO allowed entry only after 2_3 months? It’s obvious to delete the evidences. If yet another virus will come from China yet again same thing will happen, China knows this very well.
Power Tussle Between The USA , China & Russia
Chiefly the world will witness power tussles between the USA & China. However Russia isn’t far away either. But chiefly it’s between the USA & China , Russia also is a major stake holder in the international arena & ultimately the world will pay the price for these three.
United Nations Organization (UNO) will always fail in preventing Wars except the Big Five Security Council Members unanimously agreed . There are fundamental flaws in the constitution of the UNO itself, the big Five China , Russia, France , USA & Britain. Now the Big Five have Veto Power plus they have double veto power which can be used when any resolution is tabled for condemning the use of Veto. This Big Five would never allow the power to escape from their hands & UNO will keep failing as it has except when the Big Five agreed unanimously.
Conclusion
In this essay we understood who can make exact predictions which can never fail i.e. God because God has knowledge of the future. Then we saw how humans make predictions, why they are made & how it helps. Then in order to understand future Predictions of International Relations we first understood what Politics is, why it is important to understand politics, how it impacts our lives.
Then we looked at the relevant History in brief & then we looked at the future & saw reasoning with the recent past activities. It’s obviously important to know the history & present to predict the future.
Just in order to sound positive it’s possible one may give a rosy picture but how fair is it ? In my view Honesty is the most important part of making predictions. At least that much duty we owe to ourselves & to the future generations.
If the past & the present was going normal then we could predict similar things for the future but when the past & present isn’t going well, wars are going on , the economy is sinking then how far is it right for us to predict that everything will suddenly change & we will have a bright future all of a sudden?
There is nothing like World Government, there’s nothing like International Law in Practice. Yes International law does exist but who can enforce against the Will of Violators? Especially when the Violators are Powerful & Mighty?
Possible Solution
The only possible remedy to avoid this is changes in the Constitution of the United Nations to include more permanent members in the security council or to give the general assembly the power to act by 51 percent voting in cases when the security council fails to take action. But we know this will never happen as why will the Big Five ever allow it to happen?
Nobody likes to lose power. Why would they be willing to lose the power which they have? The other possible solution is that the rest of 190 countries create separate International organizations & move out of the UNO but will it ever happen? No. At least it doesn’t seem possible in the next few centuries & most probably it will never happen.
Because it’s almost impossible to have such an amount of unity in international relations. Still we do have some positives from the past like the Non Alignment Movement that it may happen however such things look nothing but a miracle from this situation. But we can always pray that it does happen. Because until the present system is changed there will be similar outcomes in future.
However reading the whole essay & looking at the future Predictions we ourselves wish to see that the predictions made above won’t come true. If they didn’t that would be great. We all want to see prosperity. We hope they don’t come true. In the meantime we can contribute as citizens of this globe & put our best efforts to spread awareness.
“When there is a Will there is a way, if the Leaders don’t show the will it’s the duty of Citizens of this world to take the responsibility of creating a bright & beautiful future”. & “If we don’t learn from our mistakes in the past , and don’t correct them in the present, then how can we change the future?
It’s important we take it seriously, the leaders & we the people. We are a global village after all , we should not forget that “The present generation is holding resources as Trustee & not as the Sole owner, we owe duty to our future generations to come”
As Indeed “no generation has absolute rights on the Natural resources in fact its a fundamental duty to protect it for future generations to come”
