Very rarely do we find a person who doesn’t like travelling, in this essay we will discuss Significance of travelling.
Religious perspective on Travelling:
Travelling is one of the most important part of Human Life. Even in this world we came as Travellers & after death we will travel to another destination. We may travel to Heaven or Hell based upon our Faith & deeds. Travelling is very important aspect of our lives also from Religious Point of View.
All the Religions put great emphasis on Travelling. In fact Travelling is one of the Religious duties of mankind. It doesn’t only mean travelling to Religious places but Travelling to any places for business , work , enjoyment, sightseeing etc.
Now the important question is Why?
Why is Traveling one of the Religious duties of believers?
There are many reasons
- As per Religion this universe is created by God
- God created all of us equally but different physical size shape, all are unique so we could recognise each other
- God created beautiful places in different parts of the world
- Travelling helps to develop personality & understanding of human beings
For All these reasons Travelling is very important from Religious Point of View, so that we could see the Beautiful Places created by God, we could meet our fellow human beings in different parts of the world, understand each other’s culture, languages , eating habits , lifestyles, History & develop compassion for people living in other parts of the world.
Compared to that if we remain in one place only & never travel even when we have the opportunity to travel our understanding & knowledge becomes very limited. Our mindset & vision becomes very narrow. With narrow mindset there is great opportunity for racism to creep in.
Now after talking about the significance of Travelling from a Religious Point of View, we should discuss the significance and importance of travelling from a personal and social perspective.
