Time Traveller
When your dear ones became lifeless and cold,
Your spirit is also lifeless,
Unable to smile,
Air seems like,
You aren’t alive.
Although, as months move onwards,
You begin to smile,
Live a typical life,
Behind the jolly face,
There is guilt buried behind for that decreased love one,
Inquiring “why am I happy?”
Bewilderment of guilt & confusion lasts for mere minutes.
Like a time traveller,
You came back to typical life,
But once again you shed tears,
as autumn,
For the past and come back to the present.
(The poem is dedicated to my Grandparents)
