It was hot summer’s day, Rohan was walking down the street when he saw a mysterious small wooden box by the road. Suddenly, he heard a voice say, “Help! Let me out of here!” To his surprise, the voice was coming from the box so he became very curious to know what’s inside the box and who is calling for help, so he decided to open the box. When Rohan opened the box, a beautiful fairy came out and she was thankful that she is free from her curse. Rohan asked the fairy, “What curse are you talking about?”. Fairy told him about the witch and the curse that was given to her. The curse was that she will remain inside the box till the time the person who is kind, caring and pure at heart, comes across to free her from the curse. Fairy was very happy on being freed from the box and gave Rohan the magic wand to help those who are in need but she also told that he will not be able to use for himself and if he did so the magic wand wouldn’t work. After saying all this the fairy bid him goodbye. Rohan was very sad as fairy was going but at the very same time he was very elated that he has help fairy to free her from the curse.
Few days later, one day when Rohan was playing and he fell into the trouble and he called out for the help to his surprise the fairy came to help him. Rohan was so happy to see the fairy and said, “Thank you”, to the fairy for helping him to come out from the trouble. Fairy said,” Oh Dear, don’t say thank you” I came because you helped me out when I was in need so I came to help you out when you are in need and also because you are kind, caring and pure at your heart. On listening to the fairy, Rohan was very happy and decided to continue doing the same. Fairy smiled and bid a goodbye to Rohan. Rohan thought of the proverb that if you do good, the good will come back to us in unexpected ways.
