Intro:-This Story is about a father and his son who lives in foreign. After sacrificing his whole life the father had come to his son as a missing man. He had some desires in his heart which he wanted to fulfill but the mud went wrong with him.
Characters:-Father (Ramesh), Son (Raghav), Daughter in law (Nivedita) and Friend (Mukesh Ji).
Ramesh: Son,this Channel is not working,Just Watch.
Raghav: Oh dad,Take it.
Ramesh: Also give a phone call to your mother,I want to talk to her.
Raghav: Yes dad,Take it.
(Raghav’s mother talking to Ramesh on phone call)
Raghav’s mother:Did you talked to Raghav about coming to India?
Ramesh: No, you don’t worry. Will Surely talk to him.
NEXT DAY:
Raghav: Papa, I and Nivedita are going to a party today
Ramesh: Son, you should have told me earlier, wait I am going to change my clothes.
Nivedita: I am waiting in the car (Nivedita leaves)
Raghav: Papa, actually only I and Nivedita can go there.
Ramesh: Never mind, both of you go. Anyway what I will do to go to the children’s party.
Raghav: okay bye.(Raghav leaves)
AFTER COMING BACK HOME FROM PARTY:
Raghav asks Nivedita: how was the party?
(Nivedita leaves with anger but Raghav stops her)
Raghav asked: What happened?
Nivedita replied with anger: Your father had come for three days as a holiday, But it has been 10 days to him.
Raghav: What I can do, He is my father. He came for a few days as a holiday.
Nivedita: But he had come without informing and he is still staying.
Raghav: You don’t worry, I will talk to him.
NEXT DAY:
(Ramesh calls Nivedita and Raghav)
Ramesh to Raghav and Nivedita: Let us all go to somewhere today, Since I have come here we have not gone anywhere.
Nivedita: Sorry Dad, but I have to go to visit a friend today.
Raghav:Yes Dad, I have to also go to a meeting in my office today.
(Ramesh holds his hand on Raghav’s shoulders)
Ramesh: Never mind Son, Will walk another day.
IN THE EVENING:
(Ramesh goes out to buy vegetables and sees Raghav enjoying with his friends)
He felt very bad as Raghav lied to him (there were little tears in his eyes)
DURING DINNER:
(All were sitting together and eating food)
Ramesh: Raghav, how was your office meeting?
Raghav: Yes dad, it was fine.
Ramesh: Good, Nivedita how are your parents, Do they come here to meet you guys?
Nivedita: Yes, they talk on phone only, they don’t come like this(Tauntingly)
(Ramesh gets a little surprised, Raghav points to Nivedita)
Nivedita: Sorry Dad,I didn’t mean that.
Raghav: Okay Dad, Now tell me what you will eat tomorrow (Changing the topic)
Ramesh: For tomorrow evening, I have called Mukesh Ji
Raghav: Who Mukesh ji (he gets a little bit surprised)
Ramesh: That our neighbour, He has been here for a long time, I thought that we should meet him once.
Raghav: You should have told earlier (Angrily)
Ramesh: Sorry son, Are you going out somewhere?
Raghav: We are not going anywhere, but you should have told us earlier. A plan has to be made here first.
Ramesh: You are correct, Who are such people who come uninvited.
Raghav: I didn’t mean that.
Ramesh: I was just joking, Anyway I have thought that I will stay here for a month.(Both Raghav and Nivedita get shocked. Both do not Respond.)
(Ramesh Continues)Ramesh: Else both of you have to come to India in July.
Raghav (little bit irritated): But papa, it would not be possible for us.
Ramesh (Replies with love): Try on.
Raghav: we will see it.
Ramesh: Nice, I was thinking to buy a new watch.
Raghav: But you already have one.
Ramesh (rudely): Will go in a day or two.
Ramesh: I was just thinking to buy a new watch before the arrival of Mukesh ji
Raghav: We will see it.
AFTER DINNER GETS FINISHED:
Ramesh: Good-Night,Son
Raghav: Yes Dad,good night.
(Ramesh goes, Nivedita looks at Raghav Angrily)
Raghav: Look, I didn’t know anything about it.
Nivedita: Now Dad will stay here for one month, how I will handle this??
Raghav: But how I can refuse to him. He is my father.
(Debates goes on between both of them for a long time)
NEXT DAY MORNING:
(Raghav was sitting and Ramesh comes)
Ramesh: Son,here traffic is very good. I wish it was like this in India.
Raghav: Yes, Dad.
Ramesh: Well, I was thinking when I go to get the watch with you, I will also take one t-shirt.
Raghav (Replies Angrily):First Watch and now tshirt. Dad we have to save money now and why don’t you buy all these in India.
Ramesh: I thought to come and buy with you (A little bit Sad)
Raghav: Will go after sometime.
Ramesh: And anyway you guys will come in India in July. Get tickets around4-5 July.
Raghav: We will think about it. (Answered rudely)
(Ramesh gets a little Disappointed)
Ramesh: But, Son…
Raghav: Now, I have to go to complete my office work.
(Raghav leaves with anger, Ramesh feels very Sad)
MUKESH JI ARRIVES THE SAME EVENING
Mukesh Bhaii: How are you Ramesh I am seeing you after so many years.
Ramesh: Didn’t got time to meet, just used to be busy with work everytime.
Mukesh Bhai: Good,Raghav-Nivedita how are you both doing?
Raghav-Nivedita Replied:Yes uncle, Everything is going well.
Mukesh Bhai(with a laugh):Ramesh, you are so busy with work that you don’t even pay attention to your watch. See still the same 25 year old watch is worn.
Ramesh: No-no it’s nothing like that. (with little tears in eyes)
Ramesh ji (continues): I am going to washroom for 2 minutes. (Raghav remembers the talks about the watch)
(Ramesh goes to the washroom, Takes off his glasses and starts crying. On the other hand, Mukesh ji and Raghav keep talking until the arrival of Ramesh. Raghav didn’t had any answer for Mukesh ji ‘s talks. After sometime Ramesh comes and laughs-jokes with everyone.)
Mukesh ji: Raghav,do you have any plan to go to India?
Ramesh cutting Raghav’s talk replied:Yes,absolutely.
Mukesh ji: Great
(At last, it’s time for Mukesh ji to leave.Ramesh goes outside leaving Mukesh ji)
In the end, Mukesh ji leaves saying: Ramesh, no matter how much you try to hide, But everything is visible.
Ramesh Replies with a laugh: They are children, After sometime they will understand…
NEXT DAY MORNING:-
(Raghav was calling Ramesh for breakfast. He goes to his room and finds a Letter)
Raghav read the Letter:–
“Raghav, son. By the time you are getting this Letter. I will have left for India. I don’t feel like informing you that I am going because you won’t let me go. There is just a little thing that I want to share with you. Son, You remember that I was asking you to come to India. Actually, your mother’s health is not keeping well these days, Also I was asking you again and again for coming on 5 July. Actually Son,Your mother’s Birthday is on 7 July. Her only wish was that she just wanted to celebrate her birthday with you and Nivedita. MAYBE ITS HER LAST BIRTHDAY. But Sorry Son, I bothered you, Before coming to you, I didn’t knew that even children have their own lives. Apologies Nivedita also on my behalf. TakeCare of Yourself and Nivedita. Always there for you.
