‘Exams are just part of your master plan.’ Day-by-day as this world gets more and more competitive, examinations have been a crucial part in shaping an individual’s career. According to a study, competitive exams are tests where candidates are ranked according to their grades or percentiles, from which only the top students are rewarded. However, to us students, passing these exams with flying colours is what is highly expected from us. These challenging exams can make or break the walk of life. Some examples of competitive exams are the Sats, the Civil Engineering Examination, Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and so on.
To begin with, the importance of these exams extends more than just brightening the future of a student. They also bring personal gains to a student. It grants students an insight of their capabilities, that is, discovering their hidden strengths and detecting their weaknesses to reinforce them. Students become better equipped with self-discipline, self-analytic skills, stress management, time management and planning skills.
The latter can smoothly track their academic progress thanks to these tests being assessed at regular intervals. These tests include reading, writing and sometimes speaking which makes them a complete individual. Confidence is built within themselves due the healthy competitive atmosphere that these exams tend to bring. Most importantly, they guide students towards their desired vocation as their career path tend to be chosen from something they excel in.
The Scholastic Assessment (SATS) is one of the most internationally renowned standardized digital tests that evaluates verbal and mathematical skills of candidates who want to pursue an undergraduate course abroad, most commonly the United States of America.
