Hobbies are activities that we enjoy and doing in our free time. They help us relax, learn new skills and make us happy. Everyone has their own favourite hobby. Some people like reading, others like paintings and singing, but my favourite hobby is travelling. Travelling is an exciting way to explore new places, meet new local peoples and learn about different cultures. I love discovering new cities, trying new foods and experiencing new adventures. I started travelling with my family when I was a child. We would visit our grandparents in another city during holidays. As I grew older, my love for travelling only a grew stronger. Now I travel with my friends and family to new destinations every year.
Travelling has many benefits. It helps me broaden my perspective learn about history and geography and developing my communication skills. Travelling also helps me relax and recharge. My favourite travel destination is Chennai and Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. In Chennai, I love the beautiful beaches, delicious sea foods and vibrant night life. I also enjoy visiting historical places like the Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple, Sri Saibaba Temple of Shirdi and Chidambaram Thillai Nataraj temple. Travelling has taught me a valuable lesson and it also taught me to be adaptable, patient and open-minded. Travelling has also helped me develop my problem-solving skills and independence.
A traveler had to pass hills and forests. She had to face the fury of nature, wild beasts, robbers and many other obstacles. With triumph of science, travelling has now become easy, cheap, quick and pleasant. Due to invention of ships, railways, electricity, motors, buses, cars and Aeroplan’s. Our journey from one place to another place even in aboard has become very easy and comfortable.
While travelling. I make sure to try local cuisine, talk to locals and learn about their customs. I also make it a point to respect the environment and culture of the place. Finally, travelling is not just a happy, it is my passion. It is a way for me to explore new horizons, learn new things and make unforgettable memories. I feel grateful to have travelling as my hobby and look forward to exploring more destinations.
Travelling is now regarded as an important part of education. Educational tours increase our knowledge and new thoughts and ideas grow up in us. The education of man remains incomplete if he does not visit important places of the world. Reading of books only provides man with half knowledge. But travelling with eyes wide open and mind fully gives him full knowledge. Travelling also removes his narrowness and superstitions.
It makes a traveler smart and self-reliant. Owing to the fabulous progress in the field of communication, travelling today involves less hazards. Hence, students must take part in educational tours. It is both entertaining and instructing for them. Often our educational institutions take us out for trips. These trips are short and are used for teaching the peoples. The teachers guide the student in this excursion. Such travelling contains both fun and learning, travel becomes necessary and it gives a better knowledge than a books.
The journey to Nilgiris Tamil Nadu was captivating with winding roads, lined by lush greenery. The crisp mountain air and the sight of endless tea gardens, glowing in the sunlight made it feel like nature canvas. Each tum offered breathtaking views that filled me with awe. Nilgiris is also called as the queen of hill stations in our Country. We planned a 5 days trip of Nilgiris and booked a resort before a week. We packed our luggage and boarded the train to Salem junction.
Next day morning we reached to Coimbatore junction. From there we booked a bus and reached the Nigiris and stayed in resort at Nigiris. This cold temperature and wonderful natural sceneries are the center of attraction. The whole environment of Nilgiris Dodabetta peak, sims park, Pykara lake, Tea Garden and many more drew us into happiness straight away. Boating in the lake would be really fun filled that if we are going with the bunch of peoples.
The most awesome part of Nilgiris is the Botanical Garden. We can also ride horses in Nilgiris. We enjoyed each and every place in Nilgiris. If you want to enjoy your summer vacation Nilgiris is one good choice to go with your family and friends. Nilgiris tranquility and beauty taught me that travel creates memories that last forever inspiring me to explore the wonders of the world.
Now a days a lot of people travel in this world. Different people have different motives of travelling. Poets and writers travel to new places to get subjects for writing. Businessmen travel to various places to spread their business. Whatever be the reason, travelling gives knowledge to everybody.
