Things to cut off of my bucket list
Growing up seeing travel places in magazines and social media, I’ve grown a fascination in watching bizarre scenarios. Whenever got the chance, I used to collect pictures of different travelling destinations and attach them in my journal. After ages of collecting photos and discovering new travel places, I’ve created a bucket list of my favorite places which I’ll like to visit when older.
The place that comes the first is Salar de Uyuni aka the Bolivian Salt Flats. If you want to experience the natural artistry Bolivia has to offer, Salar de Uyuni is a must-see. It is the world’s largest salt flats which is about 10,582 kilometers, an area larger than Puerto Rico.
The salt flat, when covered in water, becomes a large natural mirror which is the reason it is called world’s largest mirror. In dry season, the flat becomes a complete flat expense of dry salt. But in the winter, a thin layer of water is formed on the top of the salt flat, which is still drivable. That is why, often tourists are seen taking cars and stopping at the middle of the flat to enjoy the comeliness of the landscape. The photographers flock here to capture the unique flats.
The second that comes in my bucket list is different tourist spots of Japan, the land of rising sun. Japan is one of the best travel destinations that has such breathtaking and serene sceneries, that tourists from all over the world keeps Japan as their most wanted travel destinations. The most famous tourist spot of Japan is Mount Fuji.
Mount fuji is located in Yamanashi and Shizuaka Ken prefecture in the central Honshu. The mountain is the highest mountain in Japan and second highest volcanic mountain in Asia. It is famous as it is considered as a sacred spirit in Shinto religion. In winter, Mount Fuji’s exceptionally symmetrical cone remains covered in snow. This mountain attracts tourists, hikers, mountain climbers and photographers.
In different movies and documentaries of the country Japan, visitors are seen taken to the top of Mount Fuji. Both the natives and tourists are guided by different guides. Due to all these, visiting Mount Fuji has become one of my favorite vising places. Aside form this, there are other places in Japan which makes the visitors question their existence.
The third that comes on my bucket list is Niyodo river, which is one of the three major rivers of shikoku. It rises in the mountain of central shikoku, running southeastward through Kochi and flowing into the Pacific at Tosa city. It is referred to as “Japan’s most beautiful river’. The water springs out from beneath the ground from about 1500m above form sea level, the river’s purity barely changes from its source to the downstream area. This flowing ribbon is a dazzling cobalt blue, which has given rise to the name “Niyodo Blue”.
At the base of many waterfalls, there is a plunge pool named ‘Nikobuchi’, which is one of the best spots to take in glowing blue bath. If the visitors make their way down the handrail, they will be rewarded with this natural gem. After relaxing in hot spring, visitors can enjoy some locally grown tea at idyllic café. The fourth that comes on my bucket list is Furano’s Lavender field, bursting with vivid color every year from April to October.
It is located in Hokkaido. Japan sure is full of natural blessings, and Furano’s Lavender field is a splendid example. Every year, from April to October, different festivals takes place in this god-bless field as it is the flower season. The area’s wetlands and highlands also feature some rare flowers which cannot be found anywhere else.
The last one that comes in my bucket list is Bali. The serenity and peace visitors feel when they visit Bali is indescribable. Bali appeals visitors through its sheer natural beauty of looming volcanos and lush terraced rice field. It is situated in the province of Indonesia and east of Java.
Bali is made up of 4 islands, from where visitor take boat and travel around the islands to enjoy its impressive volcanoes, crystalline beaches, iconic rice fields and gorgeous waterfall. It is a great place of divers and there is world class diving. There is breathtaking hiking all around the island, as well as Java and Lombok islands for hikers.
These are my few favorite travel destinations that I’ll like to explore when older.
