When you asked me to wait,
I waited for you blissfully
Days passed, nights began
With the stars twinkling
And the moon shining
I waited till I found you.
Forgetful memories
Till I moved on
With the needle and thread,
Piercing through the pain
Like the broken heart
Which was torn apart.
Your world came with a new era
But mine was held in stasis.
Your remembrance led
To my memories.
But you turned back to the curb
With a smiling face,
With me standing still
Waiting to have found you.
