In the modern times the biggest challenges which we all are facing is the lack of trust and faith in each other. The lack of such qualities can be very devastating in our personal lives. But the actual missing point is the lack of trust in truth. We all have engaged ourselves in the materialistic world so much that it has become almost impossible for us to focus on what is real and what is pretentious.

Even the human mentality as well as the behaviour has been altered to such extent that we as humans are barely able to at least understand the words which the other person is saying.

Know the Father of Nation

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the respected father of the nation of our country, is the biggest example of what truth is capable of doing to our act in life. If we all try to follow him and his lifestyle then we are bound to succeed in our lives. Butyes, there is always a factor of facing difficult situations for which we will need to first understand the way he approached his life. It is very important for us to know that he had to struggle a lot to get what he wanted for himself and his entire country. The books he wrote and the books he read while becoming a lawyer, also had a great impact on his life.

Various aspects which he tried to explore in his life, were always for the wellbeing of the people of the nation. Sometimes he was successful, but sometimes not. Sometimes people praised him for his efforts, but sometimes criticised him also. The part of criticism is one of the biggest constraints which restricts people from taking the path of truth. People tend to forget sometimes that the future generations can also get influenced by them, if they try to take up a noteworthy path in life.

Gandhi’s Struggles Because of His Principles

There were situations from time-to-time which compelled him to drop his plans of always following the truth. In some cases, there was also pressure from the near and dear ones who knew him very closely and tried to convince him occasionally that there was no need for him to take the difficult path. It was just due to their concern for him that they wanted him to be happy and progressive in his life. But he kept on going. The biggest factor of driving force for him was hope and the belief in truth.

He always said that without truth this world can become a very uncomfortable place to live.

He also depicted that if we promote the local newspaper and try to influence writing, then it will definitely reduce the number of situations which can lead to war. In a few famous words, ” The pen is mightier than the sword”.

Efforts of Mahatma Gandhi

His efforts as a guide for the Dandi March was so brave and full of confidence. It forced many people to think that the path of truth and self-discovery will be difficult until they discovered the big picture which Gandhi was thinking off and was trying to show the world.

The SatyagrahaAndolan was another major part of his life in which he tried to show the world the power of truth and unity and the message that India as a whole is very powerful and capable of fighting with any major power of the planet without violence.

Non- violence was another major point which was close to Gandhi. He always said that we can achieve the most difficult aim by walking on the path of non-violence. This method was also very effective against the Britishers as it depicted them as the cruel side who tried to always extract the advantageous things from the weak and poor people by using violence. Even the Englishmen admitted that he was the lethal and very deadly weapon against them once he showed the world the good side of being non-violent and truthful.

His Principles

He also always tried to promote the good of the local people. He always said that it is our responsibility that if we use the local made products then it will be very beneficial for the entire nation. It will also help to slowly make the nation a production hub. His belief in khaadi was unmatched as he tried to promote the locally made khaadi as a tool to show that Indians are not behind anyone in making world-class product. His belief in cleanliness was also very popular. His thought on our health was related to this, he said that good hygiene is the key to good health. His vision of allowing girls to study and let them move ahead in life is a topic which has been in consistent popularity in modern times. Today, we all are trying to solve the problem of gender inequality and hygiene all over the world. Even the government is trying to promote these Gandhian thoughts through different missions and various schemes. Some of the examples are like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat Mission, Make in India and many more.

Conclusion

We all should try to absorb and adopt these thinking in our day-to-day life. In making our nation a super power, it is very important that we all should try to develop each and every aspect of our society. Also, nuclear bombs and fighter jets won’t solve our issues, from a security point of view they are important and organizations like UN should try to establish peace among all the nations in a proper and friendly manner.
