The ICC Cricket World Cup Super League has been set up to make competitive one day international matches between Cricket nations around the world. Launched in July 2020 and running to March 2022, it will be part of the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualification process.

The newly created Cricket Would Cup Super League consists of thirteen countries, twelve members of the International Cricket Council and the Netherlands. Each country will play a one day international series against eight of the other twelve teams, four series at home and four away. Each series consists of three one day international matches.

England have played six matches so far as were able to play the three-match one day international series against Ireland earlier this year. Then, England followed up with a series against Australia. Currently England have played 6 matches, won three, lost three as they won the series against Ireland 2-1, but lost to the same score line against Australia.

The only other matches to take part so far in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League are a series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe which Pakistan won 2-1, so they sit on ten points, which is how many you get for a victory. Kookaburra bats are the source of best bats for improving the batting.

ICC Men’s Cricket Super League Schedule

The next series to start will happen shortly as Australia will take on India in a three one day internationals in Australia. Home advantage could be crucial here as most of the betting odds suggest the hosts are narrow favourites to gain the upper hand. Australia have a superb record at home and especially at Sydney where two of the three one day international will be played. Australia bring in good from key players who are likely to be in the squad so India will have to be on the front foot given some of the squad would have just finished playing in the IPL 2020 in the United Arab Emirates.

Reviewing Australia’s three match series against England, the key players with the bat were Aaron Finch, Marnus Labuschagne and David Warner. They will be once again important players to give Australia a foothold in the batting line up. With the ball, the experienced Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazelwood and Adam Zampa will be the players the Aussies will look to win them the game.

India will bring a strong squad to Australia for ICC Men’s Cricket Super League and Captain Virat Kohli will have to lead from example for the visitors to compete here. Young talent who will relish the chance to become superstars include Ravichandran Ashwin and Shikhar Dhawan.

In the bowling department Mohammed Shami & Jasprit Bumrah are key players to help win India the matches by keeping the rampant Aussies to a manageable score.

Shortly after Australia and India finish their three match one day international series, South Africa host England where two of the three matches will take place in Cape Town. South Africa are yet to feature in the ICC Men’s Cricket Super League so they will taste their first action this winter.

England will come into these matches with experience following their summer and autumn matches. Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy, Joe Root will be key players with the bat and Jofra Archer, Tom and Sam Curren will be key players to stop South Africa piling on the runs and deliver a manageable total for England to defend .

The odds on South Africa versus England are very close with Sportsbookreviews as there is little between the teams and the prediction would be a 2-1 win for either team in the three match series.

Looking further ahead into the first few months of 2021 there are many one day international series set to be confirmed which include Bangladesh taking on Sri Lanka, Australia versus New Zealand, Afghanistan hosting Ireland and Bangladesh hosting West Indies.

The one series which has been given the green light is New Zealand hosting Bangladesh in March 2021 where the host will be strong favourites to deliver a 3-0 whitewash given their excellent performance at the last cricket world cup.
