Dairy goods contain calcium that helps boost the bones. For hygiene, washing fruits and cooking vegetables before consumption is important.Pure drinking water keeps us hydrated, allows our lungs to function, and eliminate toxins. Many sicknesses are caused by untreated and impure water. Boiling water or the use of purifying agents helps disinfect the drinking water. Cleanliness is a necessary practice in hygiene to be fit. One form of personal cleaning is showering regularly and wearing clean clothes. Frequent hand washing, nail clipping, shaving, and flossing are some of the aspects in which we can provide proper personal hygiene.Keeping our environment neat and tidy keeps us healthy. We need to ensure that treatment is received by water sources. The spawning ground for many water-borne illnesses such as typhoid and cholera is polluted water. To stop this, better drainage systems support. It is rather unhygienic and dangerous to defecate in open areas. On the roads, dumping trash draws many insects that can damage the surrounding environment. Adopting proper handling of garbage would help to minimize this problem. One such program to facilitate environmental sanitation by encouraging adequate waste management and striving for a cleaner India is the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in India.The daily exercise aims to keep us fit and avoid illnesses.
