Goodbye 2023
In the twilight of the year, we stand,
2023 slipping through time’s gentle hand.
Moments woven, memories sown,
A chapter closes, seeds of the unknown.
Saying goodbye, a bittersweet art,
As echoes of laughter slowly depart.
Faces we’ve known, places we’ve tread,
In the tapestry of life, threads gently shred.
The clock’s steady heartbeat, a rhythmic chime,
Each tick, a farewell, a fleeting rhyme.
Yet, in the farewells, new beginnings arise,
A canvas blanketing tomorrow’s skies.
Reflections dance in the river of time,
Embracing the lessons, the peaks we climb.
With every adieu, a chance to renew,
Hope whispers softly, painting the view.
As the calendar turns, a sequel unfolds,
Pages unwritten, stories untold.
In the mosaic of existence, we find,
Saying goodbye births the wings of the mind.
So, to 2023, a fond adieu we send,
Grateful for the journey, on which we depend.
With a nod to the past and eyes on the morrow,
Saying goodbye, we welcome a new tomorrow.
