Essay On:

International Political Happenings in last ten years and its effect

Peace, a state or period in which there is no war has ended. After the termination of World War 2, peace has become the most prevalent term, no doubt. There were no villains with a mustache under the nose or tight white pants for 77 years. Nevertheless, these days, peace has become the most debatable topic for several reasons. Countless political issues are happening between countries; the Russia-Ukraine War, the Chinese Blockade Order, and some IS terrorism. The increase in worldly tensions indicates the fact that we reside amid a worldwide crisis. More importantly, the possibility of handing this over to future generations, directly to our sons and daughters has materialized.

Russian Military Invaded Ukraine

On February 24, 2022, around 4:50 PM, the Russian military invaded Ukraine with a special military operation by Vladimir Putin. With a number of missile air strikes, the Russian army began to seize Ukraine’s Boryspil airport and significant military facilities. Afterward, crucial cities of Ukraine such as Kharkiv, Lugansk, Belarus, Kyiv, Odesa, Mariupol, and Crimea were enveloped in a storm by the Russian paratroopers’ military in an instant. During this period, many politicians and war experts predicted a rapid victory of Russia against Ukraine because the Russian army successfully took control of the frontline with ease. However, as time elapsed, the table was turned so much that it became impossible to forecast a particular consequence. The morale of the Russian army declined as the number of sacrificed soldiers increased, they had no reason to kill innocent Ukraine residents and soldiers, and the Ukraine army’s fighting spirit arose as time passed. Moreover, the preponderance of European countries is propping up Ukraine by mentioning how miserable and impactful the war can be. Actually, from the viewpoint of European countries’ convoluted relationships, the whole Europe continent and NATO are highly likely to side with  a place that will bring more benefit to them. However, presently, they are still on the side of Ukraine.

Interrelation between Russia & Ukraine

This affair is significant to the interrelation between Russia and Ukraine, international political flow, and worldly circumstances. Countless soldiers in Russia and Ukraine are being sacrificed, and the damage has been done in supporting countries like the USA, the Czech Republic, Canada, etc. Additionally, the global economic society has turned red; Poland and Turkey are unable to import fuel from Russia; the international oil price has surged because of financial pressure; production and groceries costs have climbed (Ukraine’s food production accounts for a large proportion of the world). Moreover, the repercussions have increased the osmotic pressure from other countries on Ukraine; for some countries, it is challenging to support Ukraine considering their international relationship. For instance, in the case of the Republic of Korea, the USA, one of the most familiar allies of Korea, strongly assent Korea to help Ukraine, and this will reinforce a solid relationship with the USA.  But some other countries, especially China, Myanmar, and Hungary, are very pessimistic about supporting Ukraine; they share the opinion of bracing Russia for what it’s doing, so they are politically ambivalent toward Korea.  It is so much tough to determine whether to dispatch troops/offer weapons (Zelensky, the president of Ukraine appealed to Korea to send military supplies) because of a similar situation that Korea had suffered against Japan (Between 1910 to 1945, Korea was under Japanese rule), this circumstance is quite nonnegligible, but the revenge from Russia-supporting countries above is such an impactful threat in the aftermath. Contradicting political strategies of countries have enormous potential to lead to severe global quarrels in the aftermath. Thus, an invisible borderline between the concepts of democracy and communism is likely to be established after all.

Last Words

Even if the war is inevitable for a few’s welfare or the individual’s benefits, the innumerable destruction is entailed in diverse ways: Politically, Economically, or Socially. Different political stances of countries may strengthen the global conflict, heightened prices of foods, products, or semiconductors will be the outcome, and social inequality/discrepancies will also be. And these types of ruinations are never restricted to a few individuals. This contaminates an extremely wide range of populations, from the presidents and head diplomats of countries to the pure infants with rosy cheeks and peach-shaped hips. The smell of demolition must be finalized before they sense it. The best way to keep the peace is to avoid collapse by circumventing wars. And the worst thing to do is to mend the barn after the horse is stolen.
