Dennis Hong is a Korean American Robotics engineer and scientist. He was born in 1971 and is currently 51 years old. When he was young, he traveled to the USA and stayed there and proceeded with his education. He eventually graduated from Purdue University in Indiana.
After that Dennis Hong proceeded with his dreams and became the founder of RoMeLa (Robotics and Mechanism Library) of the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at UCLA and is currently a professor there.
Throughout his career his various impacts have changed the world and is the scientist that should be most respected in today’s world for three different reasons: he is focused on helping people, assisting the lives of the disabled, and having endless passion for not only his works but also others.
In the world today, there are many different scientists and individuals that are known for their different discoveries or inventions that helped the world to become a better place. Some introduce a new theory that changes how we see the world.
Some create an app that can connect everyone from all around the world. However, I strongly believe that scientists who work for a better life for people and ponder how to help people and fulfill their needs are the scientists that truly are helpful for the development and daily life of humans.
The perfect example of this is a scientist and engineer named Dennis Hong. This is because he helps certain people to have a better life with his inventions and research and he is very passionate about his work.
To start with, Dennis Hong is a scientist that focuses on helping people rather than fulfilling his own self-interests. He is always looking for better ways to do something and make people’s lives easier. He mainly focuses on robots that can help in different situations that are hard for humans to process.
Various humanoids were built by Dennis Hong and almost every one of them can be used to help and maybe save people’s lives. He is currently trying to make an idea of Isaac Asimov come true by making a snake robot that can climb structures at construction sites. These different adventures in science that Dennis Hong is taking will one day help humans greatly in various situations.
Furthermore, Dennis Hong helps the disabled people a lot in many ways. Throughout the years, he has built many prototypes of robot parts that can function like a human part. This can later develop into a more advanced technology and can be the first step to building cyborgs. One of his famous accomplishments is a car that can be driven by a blind person.
This invention changed the lives of a lot of people that are blind and gave them hope that as time goes by it will get better and better. This can also lead to other inventions for different disabilities, that will change the course of the world, and the living quality of many people. Dennis Hong’s inventions related to disabled people can change the world into a better place for people to live in.
Lastly, the passion that Dennis Hong has makes his works more influential and better. He works really hard for his purpose of helping people. The passion makes him more motivated to do the work and produce good things. On the other hand, other scientists work for money, and only focus on inventions or theories that can get them profit.
This is the difference between other scientists and Dennis Hong. While others do it for jobs or simply with no meaning, Dennis Hong enjoys his job and his passion for helping people is endless. This is why Dennis Hong is one of the most influential scientists now.
