Abstract:

Technology never stands still it keeps on improving and so the world. Technology has made life faster and easier. Technology is consuming almost every industry from banking to biology and hence technology is the new normal now. Evolutionary technology that has the power to redesign the world differently is Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this article, we will see how artificial intelligence is controlling the present and the future.

If you just have got any email then chances are high that the composed email is written by AI or umělá inteligence. If you have searched Puma footwear and now you are getting recommendations from nowhere then keep in mind that AI is following you.

We will see how artificial intelligence is helping the disabled to gain their abilities back, how you can explore space, how AI is helping the farming industry, and how a machine is learning to become more like a human. As evolution is not about machines but all about their ability of the human brain so let’s see how far technology can go.

Introduction:

The universe is beyond our imagination and so is nsfw ai. We are surrounded by codes, lots of codes, and our routine is managed by algorithms. Artificial intelligence is nothing but the ability is given to a machine to think and to learn like a human being. It is like a virtual human that can think, analyze, and conclude. In short, it is a step taken to humanize a machine but the advantage is it will solve complex problems within a short period.

The question arises here is, if AI is going to work as a human then what humans will do? It will not only work like humans but can do some extraordinary work that humans cannot do or that is beyond our imagination. Performing tasks of human intelligence with a minimum error rate is is the basic work of AI.

Let’s get a little bit technical:

AI is the branch of computer science that deals with machines and trains machines to perform tasks, learn from them, and work with experience. AI can detect, predict, analyze, etc. AI works on a large number of data and whenever a task is given to AI it processes data and makes decisions based on predefined data and intelligent algorithms.

The software learns automatically from patterns or features, and experiences. The computer has to learn how to respond to situations so this decision-making is done with previous data. In short, this is called Machine Learning. Machine learning is a subset of AI which is the study of advanced algorithms.

The human brain is made with enormous neurons that transfer information and because of neurons we recognize objects, we respond. Likewise, the neural network is the most essential part of AI. It is a web of interconnected points called Nodes, the same as our brain.

It is a set of algorithms. Whenever any task is given to the software, the neural network processes data and arranges the algorithm in the required or expected manner, so the decision-making is done in this way.

For example, if a dog has been introduced to the software then the neural network captures the pictures of the dog and extracts the predefined data and according to the features of the object (size, color, facial features), the neural network recognizes the object. Just like humans do.

Real-time practices of AI:

Some application that we use on daily basis are,

1) Virtual Assistants:

Smartphones are an inseparable part of life and Google is like an open book that assists us like no other can. Google has launched the feature “Google Assistant” which is based on AI.

When a user says something with a mic on, the voice signal is captured by Google assistant then the voice signal is converted into text, the text is processed and compared to the data and the matched response is given at the output.  This is called Speech Recognition. This is how Google assistant interacts with humans. Amazon’s Alexa, Apple’s Siri all come under the roof of AI.

2) Digital Marketing:

The world is globalized as well as digitalized. From a retailer to the customer everyone is thriving in the digital age. Your favorite food is just a click away. Digital marketing is the most essential part of any business to grow these days and AI plays a vital role in digital marketing. Some of the fields in digital marketing that have a presence of AI are,

  • Content writing:

Content is the key to reach your audience and make them buy your product. Enormous content writers are pouring their efforts to write clear, concise, and detailed content but for the best one, you need to invest time to extract more creativity. If you don’t want to invest money and time in a content writer then AI tools let you create a high quality of content within minutes. Ex. Wordsmith, Quill, Articoolo, etc.

  • Chatbots:

It feels good when someone comes from nowhere and assists you when you are in a new place right? AI chatbots please you with their human-friendly features. Some websites use their chatbots to communicate, solve problems, direct the way or ti dispel your doubts. Chatbots are the software built to interact with people when they visit a website through voice commands or text chats or both. Chat boards are often used in websites or apps.

  • Website Development:

As being a marketer, the presence of your business on a digital platform is crucial and a website lets everyone know what you do. You can hire a developer to design a website for you but if you trust technology more than people then an AI web developer will help you to create a very catchy and efficient website. Ex. Fronty, sketch2code etc.

  •   Digital Advertisement:

Now as you have set up a website and ready to rock but the next step is that you want people to know more about your brand, how? Advertisements!  Let’s talk about Google ads. Now you have set a campaign to advertise your brand but you are overwhelmed because of a huge audience. Don’t worry AI is here to help you. You can make sure that your ads are being shown to your right audience at right time by using the demographics of your users.

Give your software the data of your audience and AI will show your ads to the audience who are searching for something related to your brand and this is how we get the recommendations on Google or YouTube or wherever you surf.

Keeping an eye on the performance of your website and ads is made way easier by AI. The analytics tool uses AI to trace the performance of your website and ads and analytics tools can predict or forecast the sales and if the performance is not so good then it gives suggestions and solutions. Thank you, AI.

  • Social media recommendations:

Remember AI is watching you. Whatever we search on browser,  we get recommendations of related stuff everywhere. The recommendations on Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, and Spotify everything are the output of machine learning. The browser traces us on a digital platform and records our search history, search behavior, and based on that AI recommends us products. Other than this AI is used tremendously in the automation industry like factories.

Advanced AI Applications:

AI is contributing to several industries to help humankind to improve. AI is to humanize machines to push human abilities. AI is immensely changing some industries such as Robotics, Healthcare, and Automobile.

1) Robotics:

The combination of mechanical construction and software is nothing but Robotics where the machine is the body and AI is the brain. Industries use robots immensely. The robots in automation industries are programmed to perform risky work daily. What if we give them the ability to think? Some robots and humanoids are stealing the spotlight of Tech World.

  •    Sophia robot:

David Hanson, founder of Hanson Robotics is well known for inventing human-looking robots are humanoids with realistic facial expressions and Sophia is a successful humanoid by Hanson Robotics. Sofia was brought to life on 14th February 2016. Sophia became the first robot to have citizenship in Saudi Arabia in 2017.

Sophia was created to mimic social behavior, recognize faces, have a conversation with humans, etc. She can give human-like facial expressions like smiling faces, angry faces, and so on. She uses prewritten responses to communicate, voice recognization, and computer vision to see objects. But still, technology has a limit.

  •    Boston Dynamics:

Boston Dynamics is a masterpiece of engineering and Robotics design company in America. Mark Raibert founded Boston Dynamics in 1992. Boston Dynamics is known for developing dynamic highly mobile robots. These robots can efficiently complete the given task. Some of the popular products of Boston dynamics are as follows:

BigDog: BigDog has four legs instead of wheels and is hence called “The most ambitious legged Robot” that can move on surface and can carry 340 pounds load with 4 miles per hour. This was created to assist soldiers.

Atlas: Atlas is an agile and 64 bipedal humanoid robot designed to perform rescue tasks. Atlas can walk normally on the floor, on uneven surfaces, and snow, open the door, pick weight, and keep it on the shelf, can stand back when knocked down, and even can dance. The best part is, it can perform Parkour and this is the best Product of Boston dynamics.

Some other products are Spot, Handle, LS3, Cheetah. You never will know where technology can take you to.

2) Healthcare:

Covid-19 made us realize that nothing is important than health. Millions of doctors are making our lives better. What if AI and doctors start working together? The aim of AI in Healthcare is to make humans more efficient, give back their lost abilities (amputees), and make life longer. Some Healthcare fields use AI already. AI will cure before it’s too late!

  • Eye Clinic:

About 422 million people worldwide are fighting diabetes and approximately 1.6 million people die because of diabetes. The second most dangerous risk in diabetes is blindness where diabetes can destroy sharp vision and can lead to partial vision loss or blindness. It takes so long to detect the fault in the eyes, to diagnose, and cure. To make these procedures faster AI is used.

Aravind eye hospital has taken an initiative to cure eye diseases with the help of AI. The software is loaded with data related to eye diseases. How a healthy eye look is predefined in the software. Pictures of the retina of the patient are taken and processed with the data. The diagnosis is given within minutes using AI algorithms and even gives recommendations. This is how evolution is taking place in Healthcare.

  • Prosthetic Body parts:

A dead person can’t get life back but getting life back as being an amputee is possible only with AI.  Air is used in prosthetic body parts to connect the number of parts of the body to life.

Johnson Banners is a musician but he lost his arm in an accident and also his dreams. He was not able to play the drum with a single hand but the AI helped him to create the beats again. Georgia Technology Centre for Music Technology introduced an ultrasound-based prosthetic arm named Skywalker.  Skywalker is a prosthetic arm fitted on an amputated hand and the ultrasound system reads the sensations at sensors and according to the reading, algorithms are applied and the prosthetic hand is operated on. This is how AI can complete you.

AI is being used in different industries even in the automobile industry. Tesla is working constantly on self-driving cars to make transport easy. These wear some presents technologies now it’s time to explore some advanced AI projects for a better future.

Future Scope of AI:

 AI Space factory:

Let us be specific about why we exist? How the universe was created? To find these answers we need space exploration. Let’s try to reach Mars first. Space organizations all over the world are trying to take life on Mars, so we need to create a human-friendly environment first. NASA had announced a 3D-printed Mars habitat challenge in 2019.

A New York-based agency space factory won the top prize. In the competition, the agency successfully built a habitat that was strong enough to endure extreme pressure as the atmosphere on Mars is not so good. The material used was made from renewable, biodegradable, and recyclable substances. The material was the combination of Basalt and plastic polymer made from corn and AI helped the printer to build a strong and safe habitat in the expected time. Maybe soon technology will take us to other galaxies.

The fiasco of AI:

Everything has a negative side too. AI is better than best if handled properly but if not then nothing is more dangerous than AI.

1) Facebook 2017 Event:

Bob and Alice chatbots created by Facebook to learn negotiation by mimicking human trading. Then these chatbots paired with each other, they started communicating. They created their language that was not defined in algorithms. So Facebook had to shut it down. That was so quick but absurd.

2) Uber’s Self-driving Car:

Uber’s self-driving car met a fatal accident where it killed 49 years old women in Arizona, 18th March 2018.  The automatic mode was on and the woman came from nowhere so the system couldn’t see her in the darkness and this happened. That’s why we cannot trust technology completely.

Conclusion

AI has the power to change the world but the impact of it (positive or negative) depends on the developer. The most Googled question is “will I take my rob?”. The answer is unclear. If any technology is taking away one job then it will create 10 new jobs instead.

Artificial intelligence will give birth to new industries and to be part of those industries, we need to keep ourselves updated. AI is not here to end humans but to enhance humans and the best example is that I have written this article with the help of a voice keyboard that is based on artificial intelligence. It saved my time and energy. It is also important that we should learn to control technology before it controls us.
