Gim’me my home,
my long lost home.
Am sure it was here,
but, now it is gone.
It cared for me, for
shelter and retreat.
From rain and sun
In times of defeat.
I could always come
When tired and alone.
Gim’me my home,
my long lost home.
Am sure it was here,
but, now it is gone.
Set out to conquer,
the world that be.
Traverse the earth
was dream in me.
But lost for ever,
the nest of my own.
Gim’me my home,
my long lost home.
Am sure it was here,
but, now it is gone
Like the lap of mother,
It w’d soothe and protect.
Harshness of life,
W’d dare not touch.
Can’t find it now,
And no one to tell me.
Gim’me my home,
my long lost home.
Am sure it was here,
but, now it is gone.
