Once upon a time, there was a temple which was devoted to a goddess in village. One day a couple who hadn’t kids, came to the temple, and prayed to have a good child in the future. They have spent their life without aimlessly, due to there are not kids. The goddess understood their problem, and decided to help them. The goddess thought more and more. “I should stay in this temple due to my devotees come to ask my help. So I should find a good god or goddess who can be their child”. The goddess remembered goddess, Daksha who is very kind, and intelligent. So she told goddess, Daksha about the incident. Goddess, Daksha understood the pathetic situation of that couple. So she decided to be their child. “Daksha, don’t forget to do a special thing for people”. The main goddess told her.

The woman of that couple gave the birth to a girl after 9 months. They named her Advika. Advika grew up very well with the time. She was more intelligent than other girls. She had a solution to any complex situation or a problem. Her intelligence was popular all around that kingdom. So the king of that kingdom enrolled her as a chaplain. Other chaplains were confused with the king’s decision. But later they realized that the king’s decision is correct due to the development of the kingdom was improved day by day with the ideas of Advika.

Advika was not satisfied with the post, chaplain. So she learned martial arts, and sward fighting to be a general of the king. Her parents were proud about her. Even though she was very busy, she didn’t forget to look after her parents. In that time, that country didn’t have a good education system to teach girls. Therefore, lots of girls hadn’t a literacy. So they couldn’t read, and they couldn’t grab knowledge from reading books. Advika decided to create a good education system for girls. Before implementation, she discussed with the king. “Advika, I don’t think that we need an education system for girls. They manage their tasks without education. Due to they didn’t have schools, they get enough knowledge to live domestically”. The king replied. “My lord, when women are educated, they get a good knowledge about health, nutrition and other important things. Child mortality and maternal mortality are high in our country, even though people have good resources. If women had a good knowledge about these things, they concern about their health and children’s health. And also, women spent the money which their husbands earn. Some young women don’t know to manage this money, until they got their next wage. Then living standards of the families are decreased. The development of the country is negatively affected by poor living standards of people, child mortality and maternal mortality. My lord, please think about these things”. Advika said. The king understood that the thing which Advika said, is correct. So he gave the permission to create a good education system for women.

First Advika trained 10 matured women as teachers, and they were assigned to teach the groups of small girls. Teachers and students were increased with the time. Separate buildings were set up as schools for girls. People’s living standards were increased. Child mortality and maternal mortality are reduced. Everybody expressed their gratitude to Advika. In addition to that, Advika introduced lots of systems to improve people’s wellbeing and development of the country in her lifetime. After Advika were passed away, people of that country built a temple for her, and worshiped her as a goddess.
