You, when you decide to meet me.
I prepare myself to shine brightly.
I take a step ahead,
And, I wait for you to show yourself to me.
But, when you see yourself in me
Why do you look so unhappy?
You see your scars, your marks.
Your spotted broken skin,
Your saggy arms.
You highlight all your flaws,
And compare yourself with sorrowful thoughts.
Why can’t you see? What I want to show you.
Your true beauty,
Your soul that I adore.
The glitter in your eyes gives a glimpse of your vision.
Your hands shaping your future.
Your bright smile, your beautiful cheeks, and your hair. Just You!
You, who can achieve whatever you desire,
Your confidence that everyone admires.
The difference that you stand and make.
Just change the way you see yourself.
You will see a new version of yourself.
The world is waiting with open gates.
Show them what you are and what you can create.
Until we meet the next time,
I will wait for you to stand and shine.
