He had been featured in the Time’s magazine list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2010 in the Artist category, he also won the “CNN-IBN Indian of the year in 2014” award. He won the Filmfare award forthe best screenplay for Kai Po Che. New York Times, in 2008, declared Chetan Bhagat as the “biggest best-sellinglanguage novelist in India’s history.”Also, Heis one of the biggest names on the list of Indian authors, having sold over 7 million copies to date.
