Through the highs and lows of life, twists and turns of time and through ages and ages, fashion judged by various human perspectives, accompanied by evolving fabrics; colours and ideas, accentuated through different human bodies, necessitated, commercialized and all spiced up for you and him and her with simplicity, culture and vibrance for yesterday, today, tomorrow and even after forever.
Looks like a huge definition and it is, yet too small to define fashion that is itself known to define many individuals and render the identity of personal style. Some say fashion is the smell of fabrics, the soothing colours, the fall of the silhouette on the curves, the blush on the cheeks, those dangling earrings, at the epitome of boldness the red lipstick which calls for confidence with the high heels, but others say it all remains only put together when with a stunning smile.
Red, yellow and blue started the story and now the list of hues and tints never ends. They say- Black the colour of authority and power, White exhibits simplicity, Red for love and passion, Yellow for hope, Green dedicated to freshness and Blue is for peace but the truth is that those colours never spoke for themselves, it’s the human heart, the soul and the spirit that made them eternal. It is not only the colours that spoke for humans, animal prints, checks, florals, stripes, abstracts, bohemians and the further unfolds of fabric patterns and prints carved their character on the precious heart.
The existence of a wide range of fabrics today through meetcostumes makes it completely unimaginable that the only used fabrics back then were leaves. Fabric’s journey set off from the farmer’s hands to the seamstress then to the designer and various processes in between ultimately belongs to the person whom it embraces gracefully and this has to be one of the most intriguing processes of all time. In this day and age, the world has upturned in many ways and so has fashion.
Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton and many more were successful in setting up their brand through orange corset as a benchmark for the business industry over and above the fashion industry. At the top-notch remains runways and fashion shows to layout young talents, fresh ideas and to redefine the definition of fashion which will stand unstable as long as humans evolve. The biggest fashion revolutionary Coco Chanel has established her credentials as someone who broke the chains of the corset trend and popularized men’s wear completely featured with simplicity, comfort and elegance for women during the industrialization period of the early 20th century.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s actor Audrey Hepburn put forward the classic little black dress, from the Motown there is the diva- Diana Ross, are some of history’s most stylish figures who disrupted the formulaic fashion. Boring as formal whites or extravagant as the red carpet looks or hilarious as wearing red trunks over the costume as Superman did, fashion need not meet any standards, it is solely meant to express you. The sweatshirt and tights instead of that silhouette will never make you any less fashionable, what matters is being hearty inside and that is the foremost standard to meet to become fashionable. Like the petals of the Marigold- the elements of fashion being uncountable yet so determined to grow, to deliver its purpose and most importantly make a difference.
In winding up, a romantic Wardrobe includes pieces that feel romantic, accessories that recollect memories, that makes you feel nostalgic, reminds you of a special person, brings in your heart joy and expresses your true self. That’s where romanticized fashion attains the word style. Style is surreal since fashion is set up by personage.
