Nolwazi Charmaine Nkosi is a Newly Emerged Young South African Author. After receiving enormous recognition for her beautifully unique style of writing, in short period of a month, monomousumi saw it best that they assist in the sharing of this young lady’s talent. They have published her very own first eBook.
It was only after she had written about two articles at monomousumi, that they fell in love with the way she establishes her writing territory: professionally, authentically, and faultlessly.
This South African book fanatic is none other than Nolwazi Charmaine Nkosi. She is a nineteen year old with an aim to conquer the writing world. She has received out of this world critique from a local short story publisher, FunDza:
“As a reader who is fairly acquainted with the works of people like Shakespeare and other such writers, it was refreshing to read a story with a similar motif as theirs but from a different perspective. It is not every day that one comes across a story about western-style royalty, written from an outside perspective; and it was truly refreshing to read a story that, on the outside, is well known, but written from a perspective that makes it sound so fairly new. From the first line of your story, it was easy to tell that you have a wonderful command of the written language, and your creative abilities shined through all the way to the last sentence.
You are a brilliant writer, one whose talent is bound to grow from here on, and we are looking forward to reading more stories from you in the future.”
She received this after submitting a single short story. This young lady possesses a nature of awe demanding talent. She has received both local and international recognition from creative writing publishers. It’s only a matter of time before she torrents more of her creative writing skills.
She has received the following honours: Outstanding Article Award (two of these) and an Editor’s Choice Award. She has also had the privilege of being part of the online Expolingua hosted in Berlin, where there are more than 70 language courses, interactive workshops and talks. Such experiences have helped her keep motivated.
Her book is ideal for everybody, it contains five different genres. This young lady has created a world of reality that portrays both the literal and figurative perspectives.
‘Aunt, I just had another dream. The door was there again, but it’s different from the first and the second one…’
This is an extract, from the book, that anyone would receive so literally, but figuratively she connotes, through this given character, that the dream that you had last time, and ignored, will make it difficult for you to understand how you have to open a door for the next one. Unless you take the first one seriously only then will you realise that the reason there are different doors for each dream is because what lies beyond them is different in magnitude, impact and durability. If the dream wasn’t for you, then the door wouldn’t have been there in the first place.
She claims that the world must not view her as a prodigy but simply a God given talent possessor.
