Traveling after a long time

Hoping to create beautiful memories.

But, traffic stopped me in between.

I looked through my window Outside,

I saw a cheeky boy

A spark of light was in his eyes

He came running with a smile.

I looked down from his smiling face

I saw shagged clothes and thin bare feet.

He said, Madam, buy this lovely kite.

It has more beauty than my life These kites are freer than me.

They swim across the sky unrestrictedly.

Their bright color shines as they fly

And brings a smile to people’s life.

When its string is broken They run to save its life.

I carved it with my own hands.

Its life is more precious than its craftsman.

I may look like a shagged low But, my kite is as strong as my hope.
