Episode 2: The Begin
It was a late night in 80’s Bharathapuram. Hundreds of villagers surrounded the dead body laid before a small hut. Their murmurs ceased as the village head’s car horn sounded. The Village Head stepped out with his wife and saw a young girl sitting hopelessly beside the dead body. Looking at her, the Village Head said, “Milkman’s sister, tell me how you’ll repay the ₹8,000 rupees borrowed from me. Until then, your brother’s body cannot be buried in this village.” The young girl stood, pleading, “Head, I’ll work your land and settle the debt in installments. Please permit the burial.” The Village Head asked, “How will you repay the total amount?” She stood speechless. His wife suggested, “Let’s marry this girl to our last son to save her life.” The Village Head agreed, valuing her hardworking nature and the consent that would develop in the villagers heart so as to hold his head position tight. Villagers praised the village head’s kindness, accepting a poor girl as his daughter-in-law !!! The landlady started the marriage arrangements immediately after the burial !!! The Village Head’s son, the young master who was miles apart was called upon !
